Hate New Years. Always have done.
The contrived nature of it. Enforced 'partay' conditions. No thanks. Shall be in bed about 11pm probably. come round for a drink I'm sure we'd get on like a house on fire

Staying in don't think it's safe out there. I'm praying to god nothing happens, but no I couldn't be in the big city tonight I'd be terrified watching anyone and everyone looking for someone suspicious. Celebrating in a big crowd wouldn't be fun or any kind of celebration. Too much fear.

That's very paranoid of you, and sort of letting the terrorists win.

Well rather than going to bed I've decided to crack open the Grey Goose, not a vodka drinker but it's all I had in. I imagine paint thinners tastes nicer than this.

Wow. Less than 10% of over 140 people in this poll are going out. I shouldn't be surprised considering how expensive celebrating the NY has become now.

Already in bed, and feeling sleepy. Don't think I will be lasting until midnight. Mind you, this is my New Year as per normal now. I will watch the fireworks on the news tomorrow, when they show clips from around the world celebrating New Year, like they do every year.

We've been out all day visiting rellies, so we're tired & definitely not going out tonight. Any way. I don't particularly enjoy being squashed in somewhere with a whole lot of drunks shrieking their heads off !
Did that scene in my teens & twenties & don't really enjoy it now. |

Yep.
Was discharged from hospital yesterday. Exhausted, still not well, so lying in onesie on sofa, trying to rest and get through the night. |

Thanks francie, getting it done next week. Ended up spending over £60! But lovely items, and need to replenish stock after all the Xmas craft fairs, and my favourite designer and presenter. If you enjoy jewellery making, so long as you can put up with some of the presenters, you learn a lot from the designers. Can recommend their workshops too.
I've got my eye on "Beadsmith 1-Step Earring Wire Looper Tool" so I might treat myself (love my gadgets). They good on delivery?

If you seriously think that, then vodka is wasted on you. You crack away with the paint thinners, leave the Grey Goose to grown ups. |
