Yes it was touching. At first Peri was saddened by Leela betraying Cameron but then came round to her love for her mum. They are my dream mum & daughter act in soap.

Indeed, we were led to believe there was a big Cameron & Lomax showdown but then his other murders were brushed under the carpet ... literally.
With Mac as their father either is possible. I think James is more likely.

I feared that as Cameron did not have a son after all, he might not want Leela to have one either, if you get my drift.

Leela has joined me in being chuffed at you calling me MM. As you may know, MM is Roman numerals for 2000, the year Peri was born.
Seeing as Cameron has no positive role with anyone now apart from Peri, if he doesn't eventually come to terms with Leela having baby Daniel, he has little real future in the village now. I understand that a week from now

Being Kirsty's birthday today I watched extracts from Hollyoaks meets Come Dine With Me from last year. With 1 notable exception, I am encouraged that all 6 participants are still in the show. These are Kirsty-Leigh Porter, Jessica Ellis, Jessica Fox, Jacqueline Boatswain, James McKenna & Kieron Richardson. That said, there might only be 5 if James McKenna (Jack) has just left. 
While the thread has been a bit quiet tonight, I feel proud to have topped the user board on Kirsty's birthday.

Eva was in tonight's episode, and the last we saw was Jack driving her away, and perhaps himself leaving too. I haven't looked out for her in the opening credits.

I hope this signals the end of Cameron, the storyline has dragged on for too long and in my opinion has never been interesting . It's a shame they decided to turn Cameron into a psychopath as could have been an interesting character and I initially liked his relationship with Leela.
I'm interested to see who Leela's next love interest will be. Jesse seems like the obvious choice now Celine is off the scene and they both have history or she could have an affair with Louis ( I hope this doesn't happen). Knowing Hollyoaks she will probably end up with Zack.

Like another user pointed out, I find it quite distasteful that they're running this storyline the same time as Ellie's storyline.
Is it too much to ask that, with the Cameron storyline coming to an end soon, that the rest of them soon follow suit? I mean, I don't mind Leela, she can stay but the rest can disappear...none of them are that important to any storylines anymore I don't think...especially Tegan....she NEEDS axing

For all the hype about Cameron being really bad in this showdown, he scared Leela a bit then merely walked away. And still his killings are not in the open. A similarity between Celine & Leela is that they are both inwardly a bit vulnerable, although in Leela's case she rarely shows it. She does have history with Jesse like you say. If she were to start a relationship with Liam once Eva inevitable flees, we could name her daughter followed immediately by the animal that scared him, and get Peri chicken!

I had thought that he might want to dash the child's brains out myself, but he would probably strangle, smother or drown. He likes people to die from lack of oxygen.
Haven't watched hollyoaks in weeks been watching other tv shows. Read what happened to Esther gonna catch up with that epsiode.

Admittedly there is one very big snag in Cameron even trying to kill Daniel. As he is known to be devastated not to have a son in the end, he would be the no 1 suspect.
Just taking a holiday from the village instead of a honeymoon is a very tame reaction by Cameron's standards. He said to Peri he feels he hates Leela, but I can see that as far as possible he does not want to do anything that would bother Peri.

Jasmine Franks deserve better, really hope Esther and Kim get more to do this year. Kim and Esther should've just gone on their honeymoon instead of the Kim vanishing story and both in the silly Eva story.
