Comfort food - what's yours?
Cauliflower cheese, macaroni cheese and Shepherds Pie are three of my favourites. What's yours?

We had a walk on the seafront today - with our children and the grandchildren, larking around, racing and throwing pebbles at the sea and I determined I was having a bag of chips at the end of the walk. The ladies opted for tea and toasted tea cakes in a nice cafe so it was nice but I'd no appetite for my bag of chips ![]() My wife and I then decided that for dinner tonight we'd go buy a large baguette and put a dent in all the cheese, pickles, pate and coleslaw still in the fridge from Christmas - and a couple of Merlot's. Vair nice! |

The one where you boil some pasta, and make a sauce for it with melted butter and Marmite.
And some Parmesan over the lot. |

Thai green curry. I use Mae Ploy curry paste and leftover roast chicken and any veg I have in the fridge. I've been making it the same way for 20 years now and I still haven't tired of it. I cook it at least once a fortnight but more usually once a week.

You said the fatal words "from scratch" and "never use bisto" on here. 😱
