I didn't say trusted, but I'd rather not go to war with Russia, hence why I think building relations is a good thing. Russia is positively angelic compared to some of our friends like Saudi.
Nobody's going to war with Russia. Russia need not be appeased however.

It's less likely with Trump incharge than Clinton.

No more than Clinton would have been. Probably less so actually.

I wouldn't be surprised if he uses a terrorist attack to declare martial law once he realises that he can't just make himself President for life and pass the title on to one of his children.
His biggest fan Alex Jones has been predicting that doomsday conspiracy on and off for years.

Would be morbidly funny seeing it actually happen under Trump.

"Listeners Emperor Trump has declared martial law......But it's the good kind of martial law and not the Illuminati, depopulation, take our guns away kind of martial law.......Oh he does want our guns though but it's for our own good."

Even if he gained consent to do act from the Congress, it is unlikely that he would gain enough consent to change the Constitution.
Well if it's only unlikely and not impossible, we'll have something to look forward to and if they need extra persuasion to come round to his point of view then he can threaten to expose them as lizards. Or possibly reptiles in the case of those who are not Democrats.

I agree with Trump on Syria and Russia. It has been Obama's biggest foreign policy blunder.

Unfortunately Trump policies on ripping up the deal with Iran, supporting the building of Israeli settlements in occupied land and endorsing torture is going to cause even more havoc in the world.
Yes, I agree with both your points.
Obama's Middle East policy was a disaster. At least Trump seems to have realised that working with Russia and Assad in Syria is the lesser of the evils on offer.
Seems strange that he wouldn't follow through with following some kind of dialogue with Iran though, aren't they allied with Assad and Russia ? Then there's Turkey, who seem to be loose cannons, nobody really knows where they're likely to jump next.

If Trump can find a way to dump Saudi Arabia, I might even begin to have some admiration for the guy. They have been the catalyst for most of the horrors we have seen, including ISIS.
