Heya!

So I've been invited to a wedding in February. It's a black tie evening event - and I'm struggling outfit wise!

I need something with long or at least 3/4 length sleeves, due to scarring on my arms that family at the wedding do not (and cannot) know about, having them on show would make me really uncomfortable.

I also can't have anything open backed, and I need to be able to wear a bra with it due to being top heavy.

I'm 4 foot 11, and a size 4-6. If anyone can help, that'd be brilliant

Thank you in advance

Possibly online shopping will be the best place to start. If only to see what is out there and available. If I'm looking for something specific, I find this the easiest way rather than going round all the shops and end up disappointed. You can always buy a few outfits , try on at home and send back the ones you don't want for a refund.

Are you looking for a wedding outfit as well as the evening one? or are you just invited to the evening event ?

You probably already know the shops/suppliers that suit your size. However, even a sleeveless dress can always be topped with a bolero/shrug which is what I often opt for as I am not keen on showing off my arms.

Have you ever thought of going to a dressmaker? That way, you can have exactly what you want.
