Love Doddy and he's a comedy legend, but's he's as tight as two coats of paint, of a generation who think paying income tax is OK for fools and plebs but not him.
Too stingy even to pay for a manager he would not leave a theatre till he was paid in readies, even when the box office takings were in the night safe. We all think it's quirky and harmless, but it's tax evasion, it's criminality. However he won't be the first or the last person of low morality to nab a knighthood. |

did he go to court in Liverpool, as obviously you have a much better chance of getting away with criminal activity if you are judged by Scousers ?
