Seriously? I really hope not for a million and one reasons.

I really wanted to like Adam Barlow but just can't take him seriously - he is just played in such an OTT manner. - and smug doesn't even begin to cover it. Aidan will always, sadly be, Shayne Ward for me and the less I say about Maria the better. I actually think that the actress is capable of so much better but they keep putting her in these 'brain-dead' bimbo situations.

A dreary love triangle/Whose the Daddy really is the last thing that I need from the three of them.

In fact, the only thing that cheers me up with this story is the prospect of Eva and Maria wrestling in mud over Aidan ....make of that what you will.....

Aidan's a bloody long way off perfect & will probably not stick around long term but there's a damn site more chance of him at least taking responsibility short term!!
Don't feel too sorry for Eva, she is very obviously in a one sided relationship & has been since day one!! 'Lovely' she may be, & I won't deny she has been lovely with Maria & doesn't deserve the way she's been treated, but she has steamrollered Aidan, pathetic as he is, into every step of this relationship & sooner or later it was always going to unravel on her!!
Eva deserves someone as nutty about her as she is about them & that is plainly not Aidan!!
Will Aidan get together with Maria? Does he genuinely love her? Does SHE deserve him after the way he's messed her about? Who knows but I would certainly back him before
the horrendous Adam who you can bet your bottom dollar won't be seen for dust if the child turned out to be his!!
Either way Maria will have something positive to focus on at last & that can't be a bad thing!!
Can we have a little girl baby this time though please to balance up the books a bit for Corrie in 10+ year's time!! Everyone seems to be having boys at the moment!! Plus a mini Maria, what could be more lovely than that!!



No, just Aidan or Adam!! She finished with Luke in august so I think she'd know by now if it was his and since then she's been with Aidan & Adam full stop!!

Here's an unusual idea for a soap, a couple in a stable and loving relationship decide they both want a baby. No delay in becoming pregnant, trouble free pregnancy followed by a completely healthy baby being delivered (with no alarms or complications) after a stress free journey to the hospital at exactly the right time. Has that one ever been done?

After all the horror & upheaval in her life following the death of Liam snr & her almost breakdown trying to get to the bottom of his death, becoming a Mum to baby Liam focussed Maria & up until this year from hell she's having now she has been a good Mum!!

She needs something similarly positive & happy to focus on now, when she gers out of prison & having two children to focus her attention on will be Maria's rehabilitation in my view!! It's something she's good at & she will always have help from Kirk, Beth, Audrey, Michelle, et al even if Aidan isn't interested!!

Another child to be palmed off on neighbours when she fancies going out looking for cheap, dirty, frenzied sex with someone she meets in the Rover's.

Hmmm, I can see you are a tough nut to crack. Can we say that there is a degree of exaggeration on my part but not that much and that you have probably erred a little too far in the other direction yourself. That way, neither of us will feel hurt or rejected.
