The Sun suggested there is more to their exit than meets the eye, not the swimming pool drama alone or at all - apparently a twist involving Jack? I really hope they survive or at least someone does / maybe he has a hand in a death?

Chubby Checker is staying at the hotel and jumps in to save them?

In tv times it mentions the multiple endings. It says they've also confirmed that multiple endings have been filmed in a bid to keep the story secret. We want this to be one of those moments that the audience only get to see when they switch on. Even the cast don't know which ending will be broadcast. We know thanks to leaks that one ending is
Spoiler
roxy falls into the swimming pool and drowns and ronnie jumps in but the weight of the dress pulls her under and drowns her
Since most people think that's the only ending they've filmed surely they have to scrap that one to make it a surprise.

The double drowning would be far too dramatic and goes against SOC's vision for the show.

I've heard a rumor that Jack and Roxy have a heated row on the balcony and during a struggle Roxy goes over into the pool, and Jack decides not to jump in and save her and slips back to the party, but unaware that someone has been watching him. Ronnie then find's Roxy in the pool and jumps in to save her, but the weight of the dress pulls Ronnie down and she starts to drown next to Roxy. Moments later they are both found dead in the pool, and Jack not only has the guilt of letting Roxy die, but also the fact that it contributed to Ronnie dying.

This is just one of the rumors i've heard and I am not saying this is actually going to happen. Just thought I would share it

Wasn't it The Sun who first 'leaked' the swimming pool ending as the 'revealed exit storyline?'

So it looks like The Sun are backing down from their "Ronnie and Roxy ARE going to die" article - typical of this rag.

No doubt if Ronnie and Roxie do no doubt there will be fools on here who were saying "R&R are to BIG to die" will be telling everyone how the "Power of the People/DS" managed to change to storyline and that SOC only changed his mind because of the outrage on her - much like there was when Michael Parr was 'axed' from Emmerdale and Ross was 'killed off' only to be brought back because of fan backlash.

That's the one which that the papers seem to think. You'd think though that if EE bosses want it to be a surprise to the viewers like they say then that ending can't happen because it's not gonna be a surprise is it thanks to the leak. If they choose that then it makes it look like they lied and didn't film multiple endings.

Only michael wasn't axed though. He was never leaving. Knew that from the moment I saw where Pete left him.

I'd love it if the twist was that they all did the Twist at Ronnie and Jacks wedding,

Can never believe the cast dont know. Surely the follow up that has been recorded weeks ago from now would give it away.

Tried to get a link but it has since been removed! - perhaps they were told it hinted at too much.

In the trailers Ronnie asks Jack not to make her choose. Perhaps he does though and that is the twist?

Not so convinced as I was that they are both going to die after last night and Sunday's preview clip. I was 90/10% that they were both going to die. I am now 60/40% that they are both going to die. I still am about 85% certain that Ronnie will die.

Over the last month they have been forshadowing happy endings spelling it out that they won't get one. Then there was Aunt Sal's Tarot card readings, the trailers, along with the tag line that Cinderella's fairytale will end at midnight. Even in the preview clip for Sunday they talk about 'Thelma & Louise' and its ending!

I always thought that The Sun's leak followed up with exclusive photographs was deliberate, as a lot of the first set of photographs look staged.

They so want us to think that they are both going to die - or at the very least Roxy will. Both Rita Simons and Samantha Womack have fed into this with their tweets. Even Glynis Barber dropped hints she was working on EE and even saying that she was filming with Michael Keating - a bit after Samantha Womack & Rita Simons stopped filming. Some fans started saying after this that she must be filmng a funeral.

I have long given up trying to work out what their will exit actually be. Abi said the hotel had a pool to Dot in Thursday's episode. So The Sun's original story could be 99% right or it is 100% wrong and they drive off in that car if Jack makes Ronnie choose?

Here's how I think it will play out no spoilers just my opinion

Roxy and Jack arguing roxy falls into swimming pool. Jack returns to party. Ronnie discovers roxy and actually manages to SAVE her.

Roxy tells Ronnie about jack leaving her to die Ronnie believes her both sisters leave together.

It can a little bit in terms of getting involved with reactions or watching with family but on the whole not really, I still get to enjoy first viewings just not always at the same time.

Fairly certain that Aunt Sal's tarot card reading was significant. Pretty sure the point that they emphasised that she taught herself means that her cards are wrong, but not 100% incorrect, I reckon that Roxy's cards were actually meant for Ronnie, and so Ronnie will be the one to die. She's also being a fool because her decisions are being lead by Jack.

Also I think the drowning story will be true, Roxy will be the one drowning, but Ronnie saves her in time, but then ends up dying herself, it will be reminiscent of New Years day years ago, when Sean kidnapped Amy and Roxy and tried drowning Roxy, till Jack and Ronnie came to save them, the difference this time being Jack won't try to save Roxy, so Ronnie tries alone, only to die.

Ronnie will die, and Roxy will leave with Amy to go off with Glenda and Danny.

I know Micheal was never axed and he would come back in a couple of weeks. But there were plenty of people convinced he was axed and demanding his return, despite the best effort of the sensible lot explaining what was obviously going to happen. And then when e did 'return' there were some individuals on here claiming it to be the power of the DS Emmerdale Forum that changed the decision to 'axe him'

But the 'death card' does not signify a physical death more of an awakening/a new life/the end of a relationship.

Olive saw their death in the cards so they will undoubtedly die. When was she ever wrong ?

Okay, except that time maybe when she told Blakey that Arthur could drive a bus and he crashed it into Clapton lido. I'll never forget it.
