I really hope the twist is that they don't die. It is almost like they are breaking both characters before they kill them. I could even go for a twist with the bodies not being found, I just think both characters deserved a happier exit.

Maybe Charlie Cotton will return and kill Ronnie as she's still legally married to him and is about to commit bigamy.

Olive saw their death in the cards so they will undoubtedly die. When was she ever wrong ?
Okay, except that time maybe when she told Blakey that Arthur could drive a bus and he crashed it into Clapton lido. I'll never forget it. ![]() ![]()

Would love to see Charlie Cotton back even if only for an episode or two. He was a great character until they had him hooking up with Roxy.
I did think that considering there are meant to be multiple endings filmed, it is funny how only the 'drowning' storyline has been leaked. I could well believe that the two sisters decide to drive off together into the sunset. The only thing with this is that would mean they would take Matthew and Amy with them and I am sure that Amy is still in the show post New Years Day. Also, Roxy has turned back to drugs so I could well believe that has some sort of tie in to the exit. Waiting to see how it all pans out but I am excited about this episode! I am also wondering what the significance is of Max running up that spiral staircase? |

It would be good to see the sisters drive off together heading for the horizon, but how can that happen? After losing Danielle and James to death and suffering at least one miscarriage Ronnie would never leave her healthy living child Matthew behind.

I've heard a rumor that Jack and Roxy have a heated row on the balcony and during a struggle Roxy goes over into the pool, and Jack decides not to jump in and save her and slips back to the party, but unaware that someone has been watching him. Ronnie then find's Roxy in the pool and jumps in to save her, but the weight of the dress pulls Ronnie down and she starts to drown next to Roxy. Moments later they are both found dead in the pool, and Jack not only has the guilt of letting Roxy die, but also the fact that it contributed to Ronnie dying.
This is just one of the rumors i've heard and I am not saying this is actually going to happen. Just thought I would share it ![]() So Ronnie and Roxy could just stand up? |

Maybe this is where Glenda comes in. She could easily get the children out without anyone noticing and R&R could follow.

I hope that either they both die, or both live.

I think they will die. It would just seem to rushed for them both to just like leave in one episode. The only way I think that could come across as plausible would be if they descided they needed to go there and then for the sake of Roxy, and reappeared later on in the week to collect everything. I think it's going to be a death for both though, especially with the screenshots of Jack for next week, and the way the episodes are worded about a family coming to terms with recent events, and how things change in Albert Square forever. Unless there is a twist and someone else dies, I would say it's fairly certain. If both just left it wouldn't have as massive impact on the Square or the family. I think it's a shame though, as both are great characters and could easily return in the future. The fact they have given away details about how both are being killed off kind of spoiled it.

I now think they will live and depart Thelma and Louise style - Glenda will sort out the kids and luggage and get them to them off screen so they don't have to return to the square.
Saves some producer having to think up a ridiculous storyline to bring them back from the dead in 5 years time! Maybe Aunt Sal dies trying to save Roxy - and gets to join her sister. |

I don't see how there's enough time in the hour episode for anything other than the reported swimming pool ending which would be a fairly quick sharp scene .
I presume max running up the staircase is after he hears Ronnie's screams when she finds Roxy face down in the pool and she tried to save her. By the time max gets there Ronnie has also drowned or is drowning. Roxy dead. Ronnie on life support. Which leads to the synopsis next week of 'one resident needing to do the unthinkable '. Its Glenda or jack having to switch off life support for ronnie. Honestly its so predictable that you almost expect their to be a twist. But come on what has actually happened on this show over the past few months which leads you to think they are even capable of pulling any sort of twist off? We have had no shocks or surprises so far from SOC despite what his hysterical fans may say. Michelle's bizarre recast I guess was kind of a shock but it was reported the day before. |

I think the death will be the end of the episode, and the shock discovery Max makes tomorrow is finding the bodies.

How deep is this swimming pool? They are normally only about 4 foot deep maximum for health and safety reason?
So Ronnie and Roxy could just stand up? |

I too think they will both die (my guess) or both live. Otherwie why axe them both if 1 survives and doesnt fit the sisters forever theme?! Given charlie was axed; would he really come back for 1 episode? I imagine matthew could go to charlie offscreen. I do wish that the fatboy saga was concluded though.

Maybe there is no pool and it was a false trail. Did either of them have wet clothes in the trailer when they were driving off?

I really hope the swimming pool thing is a lie purposely leaked to The Sun. Otherwise, it's going to be quite disappointing.
