New trailer for BBC 59 second in is Ronnie standing what seems like a indoor swimming pool, saying something like this ''isn't the end of a era, its a beginning of a new one''

Maybe there is no pool and it was a false trail. Did either of them have wet clothes in the trailer when they were driving off?
I think they are driving to the wedding not away from it

I think the car is definitely a nod to Thelma and Louise and I've always thought if Ronnie and Roxy ever left they would exit in this fashion. Either driving over a cliff or driving off into the sunset.

However, I think we've been given a clue with the lipstick scene and Ronnie saying she'd look like a hypothermia victim.

and not the explosive new year we have been promised after a relatively peaceful Christmas. Driving off into the sunshine is not really an option when they could just as easily drive back again, this time all the clues are pointing to a final ending,

Maybe Roxy is struggling in the pool and Jack is ignoring all this. Ronnie comes in and sees Jack just standing watching. Ronnie jumps in pool to save her. They will both still be alive but freezing (somehow) lying on the ground trying to keep each other warm having a huge heart to heart. Ronnie will say they will both leave Walford together with the kids without Jack. Blah blah meanwhile Jack has called for an ambulance but it is taking an age like true soap fashion. They finally arrive at hospital and Roxy will be ok but Ronnie will be in a bad way (somehow, not sure what yet) but later will die. Roxy will explode at Jack blaming him. she will leave with the kids and Jack will have everyone turning against him

Either way people will be split by this episode.

Some will be annoyed they were killed off, or some will be annoyed they survived after all the build-up.

If Jack has anything to do with the deaths, I think his character will be ruined. Also, the producer likes characters to be punished for their crimes.

the photos of Jack show him looking sad and unhappy not guilty or furtive so I don't think he is going to have any direct involvement

I now think they will live and depart Thelma and Louise style - Glenda will sort out the kids and luggage and get them to them off screen so they don't have to return to the square.

Saves some producer having to think up a ridiculous storyline to bring them back from the dead in 5 years time!

Maybe Aunt Sal dies trying to save Roxy - and gets to join her sister.
I think they get saved
Well, it looks like Ronnie's liver is no longer required for Phil, so no reason for her to die.

I doubt either of them will die. They'll come close but I suspect they'll survive whatever happens and decide to leave together for Ibiza.

Killing one of them off is un-required when the other is leaving the show too... and killing both of them off is just overkill even for trigger happy EE.

If Sam were remaining in the show I'd say it's more likely Roxy will die because that then sets up a really good story line for Ronnie. But with them both leaving... why bother killing either of them off? Keep them both in reserve to return one day.

As we've seen before, EE relies a lot on characters returning so it seems stupid to kill both of them off.

Why bother killing Cindy Beale off, kathy beale, angie watts, pat butcher. BBC love employing duds to run this show with their crackpot ideas.
The Mitchell sisters are just going to be another couple of characters in 5 years time when there is another lack of legacy characters to bring back in a big return storyline and where people ask 'why on earth were they killed off'

Mentally disturbed child kidnappers / murderers deserve nothing. I hope it is painful and slow.

Chubby Checker is staying at the hotel and jumps in to save them?

He'd be like an inflatable dinghy!

I've got a funny inkling that it may be Jack that dies and not Ronnie and Roxy!

Or Lee ends up dying?

It's strange because I don't like either character but I'm not looking forward to watching them both die.
