There's no option for 'shortly after parliament says get TF on with it'

I suppose that might be 'before or during March'.

.... I think it will be delayed but one of your choices was a bit bizarre as Theresa May said it would be at the end of March, but then she also blathered on about red white and blue brexit so who knows ............

I reckon we'll trigger A50 by end March as planned. What eventually happens after that though is anyone's guess.

Has to be March to give a full year run up campaigning for the 2020 GE after the actual exit.

April 2019 - May 2020 will be glorious for the Tories if it's gone though.

It will be too late for internal Tory dissent.
Any disaster can be written off as birthing pains for the greater things to come
A wave of jingoism can be used to undermine the Northern Labour vote
The remainers switching to LD will undermine the Southern Labour vote
The ECHR escape will still require a Tory government to implement
Huge wads of cash can be promised for the NHS as soon as we get over the birthing pains

and Labour will spend the year fighting over their seat selection after the boundary changes.

You're missing an option.

As soon as is humanly possible but definitely March 2017 not later = 1 vote.

Nuclear Brexit = Before 1 March 2017

Angry Brexit = During March 2017

The Brexit of Silly Walks = After March 2017 but still during 2017

Flatulent Brexit = 2018 or later

Full English Brexit = Never

I do hope that brexiters don't live to regret this attitude.

Given that the remainers will just keep doing more and more court cases to slow it down i'd say about 2856 would probably about the time the final appeal will be heard in the EU supreme court and by that time we'll be all speaking German and using the euro anyway and getting all our laws from Berlin.

They BoE were expecting the EUSSR Nazi superstate to have imposed the Euro by now - that's why the new pound coin is the same size as a one Euro coin.

I clicked in here expecting only to see a "never" option. Well it is a poll by The Engineer.

The notion of David, Boris and Foxy being given influence never mind control of anything which has any sort of "trigger" is truly terrifying....

Sort of - it's so they can save money on manufacturing costs, in the same way that a supermarket own-brand washing powder and cereal (frequently indistinguishable, that is the real reason soaps and food are in separate aisles) will be the same as the major big-brand ones but with different coloured boxes, they just print a load of unbranded blank coins and change the sticker depending on whose order it is.

This. I suspect it will be in mid to late March.

The sooner Theresa May explains to voters that the UK is going to leave the Single Market, the less painful it will be.

Never.

It can't happen, everyone is starting to realise how bad and damaging it is. I continue to believe politicians will see sense and act in the national interest by blocking brexit forever.

Only that is not true is it.

Final specification of the new £1 coin
Shape:
12-sided, with rounded edges (‘radial chords’) and corners.

Diameter:
Maximum (point-to-point) 23.43mm; minimum (edge-to-edge) 23.03mm.

Metallic composition:
Nickel-brass outer; nickel plated homogeneous non-ferrous inner.

Thickness:
2.8mm

Weight:
8.75g

Additional features:
The Royal Mint’s new anti-counterfeiting technology; milled edges

whereas the Euro is

1 euro
diameter:
23,25 mm
thickness: 2,33 mm
weight: 7,50 g

There had to be differences between the pound coin and euro to let automated vending machines tell which is which

Unfortunately your record of believing what will happen and what actually does happen is more than poor.

I got a couple of big calls wrong last year, but the actual damaging effects of a brexit vote I have called with precision accuracy.

After March but during 2017. May's easy ride with sections of the press will run out of steam if she doesn't trigger A50 soon.

The longer she drags it out, the less likely it is she makes it to the next election. Even with the fixed term act she will find it impossible to govern if she carries on like she is.
