PR from the BBC though (who brushed peadophiles under the carpet)
Are you sure about that luckylegs?

Here is a thread from 2008 discussing Panorama who were not brushing peadophiles under the carpet.
What is strange about the thread is that the posters are calling the men "pimps". What could that possibly indicate?
And.......the fact that no-one on the thread is saying "I am phoning the Police right now to demand action" ....or "I am phoning my MP right now to demand immediate action"

No. The thread looks like one long collective shrug of the shoulders.

Nowthen.....you wanted to say something about the BBC??

Seems that you allow no links to enter the Bubble. On Piste. Off Piste.
You make my case for me.

I tell you that you are stuck in your own Bubble.

You reply by telling the forum that you refuse to listen to anecdotal descriptions of casual racism on a radio programme that is bomabarded with calls wanting to discuss casual racism even though it is not the topic for the programme.

You could feature in a Movie called The Poster in the Bubble. You could write the tunes for all the Brexit posters who come on every day singing La La La La La can't hear you.

Oh FGS!! They did not all vote with one voice. There were a myriad of reasons I'm sure but to deny that immigration was probably the primary reason is deluded.
To believe what you imagine to be true over evidence to the contrary is more likely to be deluded than relying on evidence.
I'd never heard anyone on here talk about sovereignty before this referendum -I'd heard plenty moaning about immigrants abusing benefits, NHS, taking school places, getting preferential housing etc. etc. Not to mention thread after thread about terrorists/refugees/asylum seekers. This DS politics board over the years is pretty indicative about what peoples major worries/concerns were/are and guess what? It certainly wasn't sovereignty.
Before the referendum campaign I'd never heard anyone on here talk about the EU being great for the economy. Does not mean it was not the main reason people voted to remain.

Most people who voted in the referendum probably did not give the EU much thought before the referendum campaign. Its not like only anti EU UKIP voters and pro EU LibDem voters bothered to vote in the referendum and everybody else stayed at home.

So people are laughing off the fact that a large number of Jews no feel so unsafe here they are making plans in case they need to leave.

Oh and isn't attacking The Engineer rather than his post just a little sad?

When I read the replies to his posts, it reaffirms my belief that Brexit will be a disaster for the UK.

I live in the second largest Jewish area in the U.K. To date all of our Jewish friends are delighted with Brexit as they all voted for it.

Nothing to worry about here.

To paraphrase Mandy Rice-Davies 'well they would say that wouldn't they?'

No one likes to appear xenophobic or racist really do they? It's easier to talk about taking back control etc. etc. - dig a bit deeper and it was 'control of our borders' - we don't want anymore Jonny foreigners here thank you very much. The message really was loud and clear wasn't it? Breaking point and all that.

Surely no right- minded person would dream that 'control of our borders' was reasonable .... would they?
