I watched BBC News yesterday and the newsreader had the nerve to actually wear shoes. And even worse, he wore socks!

I'm very disappointed that the BBC are showing bias towards shoes & socks, what about sandals? Or Ugg boots? I feel the BBC need to represent all footwear options.

I also noted that the news wasn't on at it's usual time, I blame the shoes for this, tieing shoe laces must mean the news is later, slip on shoes would be a lot quicker so the news would be earlier.

I thought the newscaster wore trainers, so if he forgot something it would jog his memory.

I have noticed a lot of product placement today.

Fireworks since 11 am.

Queens honours.

Heathrow airport, surly to be totally unbiased they should also film, at Gatwick and stansted?

What's even worse, the newsreader appeared to be speaking English! This a disgrace! What about all the people in the world who don't speak English?

As a payer of the disgraceful TV Tax I demand the removal of all shoes on TV news broadcasts in the future.

What is a terrible disgrace is whatever is in the News, how serious, how important, at least three minutes is always dedicated to.....The Weather.

Why do we have to have the weather on every bulletin, can't we just look out the window? Isn't this a serious waste of money? And why do we have to have the weather for all the country, are we all travelling to all parts of the country all the time? I just want a personalised weather bulletin for my street only! Why do I have to watch other people's weather?

And above all, why do the weather man/woman wear shoes?

Personally I think it was a retrograde step when BBC newsreaders stopped wearing dinner jackets (I mean the male ones).

Im bloody outraged they wear clothing at all, its shameful for those that don't have clothes to have to sit on their sofa watching their HDTV to see someone dressed in clothing!!!

Are you for real or joking?

If you're for real, I hope 2017 sees your little world of Brexit and it's aftermath fall to pieces.

I think they should have blue on one foot, red on the other foot, but where would they put the yellow one?

True, some beer and burnt fag colour? Maybe on a beer mat for the presenters drink.

Just a Union Jack mitten will do.

With or without Scotland, St Andrew's Cross, the Saltire? And the presenter needs a red dragon, and the presenter needs a leak, but will have to wait until the end of the bulletin for that.

Actually the lady presentation announcers (they did appear in vision back in the 50s and early 60s) did wear evening dresses but they didn't read the news.

I could hazard a guess as to the male newsreaders. Dunno about the females though

Maybe on the "B" aerial view camera , or the "oo" on the front view, the other "b"for the other side view.

Under the very high journalism standards expected by the Daily Mail, they have consulted the NHS website to find out the cure to low and poor circulation.

* Stopress*

ITV Newscaster wearing socks and shoes, just said Happy New Year.

Chinese viewers were in uproar as it's not their New Year until January 28th when the year of the rooster starts.
