That was a great show, shame so little episodes were made.

Anything that was American-made, so that probably rules out all of them.

The turtles episode was called Return of the Shredder which was the first episode of series 2”

Thanks Dave. About what I expected but was surprised to find out it started in 1987 in the US and that the toys came out the following year. Considering the movie was in production before the franchise was shipped abroad, the money men must have been very confident it would be a hit.

Though I doubt anybody realised how popular the whole thing would be.

The cartoon american market heavily influenced kids TV over here back then.

I dont remember many UK cartoons.

This one from the 80's has not been mentioned yet ("a family brought together by faith and given superpowers through the miracle of modern science"):

The Racoons, I think it was called. It was about racoons anyway and one of them wore a t shirt, and they all lived in a forest!

It was very of its time. I sometimes miss kids tv like that - adventures and cartoons, nowadays everything seems to be comedy or live action, or 3d computer graphics.

The Racoons music was the best, especially the awesome theme song!

I gather it was written by a professional songwriter - but it honestly doesn't sound like a kid's cartoon song to me, it kicks ass, standing on it's own

You could play a tape in his body. It was a good toy and cartoon.
