Hysterectomy / no womb?
Autocorrect changed "Surrogate" to "Mrs" for some reason. Very happy though.

autocorrect will not and does not change surrogate to mrs

it is a spellchecker with the added capability of recognising that letters close to each other are often pressed in error offering alternatives to mistyped words

you goofed, face it and move on

Do you have my phone? I tried to type "surrogate" but my fingers added extra letters that it changed to "Mrs".

Why would I have 'goofed'?

The shock of being told that I had a cancerous tumour which needed removal swiftly before it spread and resulted in a 60% chance it would kill me
Had immediate surgery with the result "Got it all", it all happened so quickly I didn't really have chance to take it all in
Everything now seems ok bit it leaves the worry that any little ache or niggle is a sign that it did spread. It has made me rethink what is left of my life, whether it be short or long to borrow a phrase

Nope - happy where I am for the moment. We have a big contract coming in soon so should keep us busy for another 12 months or so.

Woo! Bet it feels great? My dad had a new hip just before Christmas and it's given him a new lease of life - a lot less pain!

Thanks, it does. The first few weeks were a bit rough and I wondered what the hell I had done. but I'd have the other one done in a flash now.

Good luck to your dad in his recovery

i read your posts with a midlands accent.

The loss of my wonderful old dog in early April, after nearly 16 years. The house still feels strange without him.
It's awful losing a beloved pet..we lost our 10 year old choc lab Oscar in July (cancer)..we think about him everyday.

I lost my beloved 14 year old cat last January and I still miss her, it was strange at Christmas when she wasn't in her usual spot in front of the oven sniffing the cooking turkey or trying to steal Christmas cake off my plate when I wasn't looking.

They really do leave paw prints on your heart and are part of the family.

Are you sure it's a hip you meant and not a new knee?

Received a Section 21 in July because I couldn't afford the increasing rent.

Moved into a homeless hostel in September and i'm still here.

If it's taught me anything by being here it will be the ignorance and shallowness of my family and friends.

Congratulations !

Just as long as you're not having to still scrape the car windscreen free of frost, with the outside temperature at about +11C

Lost 3 stone, got my blood pressure to normal and almost normal BMI.
Left a job that I liked but had a nasty boss who had brought back all the anxiety and stress from before.
Start a new job tomorrow. More hours, less money, more happiness I hope.
And finally...got engaged on New Years Eve to my wonderful boyfriend who I met online. It can happen!
2017 is looking good!
