Deadwood complete series on Blu-ray. Sound problem?

I have bought this series on Blu-ray. I just had a look at the reviews on Amazon, and there are a lot of people saying that on some of the episodes the sound is not synchronized with the image. Anyone on here own this set and can confirm if that is right?

If it really is faulted, I'll return it for a refund.

The original pressing was faulty but reportedly Paramount have fixed at least some of the faulty episodes on later pressings. So depends when you bought whether you have an old or a new copy.

It was originally released early 2015 so most retailers should be on newer copies by now.

However some purchasers have complained that there are still lip sync issues on the supposedly corrected BDs.

The only way to be certain you don't have issues is buy the US release from HBO rather than the rest of the world including UK Paramount version. However you should note the US release is RA locked so you must have a BD player capable of switching BD region between RB (UK) and RA (US).

Thanks for replying.

I just bought it from a supermarket. Release date on the back of the box is 2015. I don't have a multi-region Blu-ray player.

So, it probably does have sound problems. I think I'll just take it back.
