Which Soap are you most looking forward to in 2017 ? *Spoilers*
We have had little glimmers of storylines to come across most soaps over the last few days.
Also taking into account your opinions on the state of the soaps you watch. Which soaps are you looking forward to watching? Any particular storylines? * I have put spoilers in the title so that known storylines don't need spoiler tagging but please still try and be respectful of others esp if its unknown/pure speculation

When DTC was this far into his tenure I was already hating him, Whilst SOC I am loving his work.

I would usually say Emmerdale but from the few hints that I've heard about the new year storylines, it just sounds like more of the same old. It's gone very off the past 6 months.
Eastenders sounds promising, I'm mostly invested in Denise's baby storyline but the other storylines sound interesting as well. I wasn't keen on SOC at first but I think he's doing a damn good job now. |

EastEnders. Can't wait to see more of the producer's plans play out.
The other two I'm hoping can improve but I'm not optimistic. |

Hollyoaks is amazing.
Corrie, Emmerdale and Home and Away are great. River City, Casualty and Holby City are good. Neighbours, EastEnders and Doctors could do with improvement. |

I think corries still birth storyline is going to be a must watch. Kym Marsh is certainly one brave lady to agree to portray and revisit her feelings on the loss of a child that way but I can see why she is doing it.
Emmerdale has a few stories kicking about, I get the impression not everyone is happy about what has been teased but I am pretty much always happy with what they put out. i would like to see Cain and Moira back together sooner rather than later. Hollyoaks, doesnt get much praise, I don't know much about whats happening next year but it has ended very well. Diane is back soon, mercedes needs a new man and I am interested to see where Jack and Nancys storylines go. Oh and I am a fan of James and JP, sure they will have more drama. I think I know the least about EE due to the stuff The Sun printed being mostly nonsense. But we have new characters teased and well I just am a fan of the way the show is being produced at the moment and so I am going to vote Ee |

Well I always say I'm looking forward to EastEnders at this time of year because usually it's great over Christmas and promises HUGE storylines for the year ahead. This year is no different but I just hope with SOC's new approach it isn't good for the first few weeks of January as usual, before converting to tripe again.
I'm intrigued by Max's revenge, Denise and Phil's baby, Michelle's return and much more, so I have (surprise surprise) voted for EE ![]() Corrie will be interesting as it's Kate Oate's first full year. Lately though, it feels like they are just churning out as much as possible to try and look dramatic, when it actual fact I couldn't care less about any of the 'storylines' or 50% of the cast. Emmerdale looks set to be all about the Dingles, and in particular Debbie and Aaron, so I will not be watching. Seriousy annoying family!

I don't if there are any spoilers for Phelan. I can't wait for him to get a taste of his own medicine when Vinnie comes back, well I hope he does.

I'm really enjoying Emmerdale at the moment. The Dingles are however my least favourite family. I really enjoy the Barton's so will be interested to see what happens with them if it's too Dingle centric is not sure how I feel- though we also have the Ashley arc to conclude.
Looking forwarding to a lot in Eastenders right now. Max self harming. Michelle. How the whole Lee plot will end. Denise and the baby. The consequences of however the Mitchell's leave. Not sure much of what's on the horizon in Hollyoaks. |
