I feel very differently, I would far rather have the Dingles than the new Bartons, Aaron excepted. I like Finn and Emma but the other two are amongst my least favourite characters. I like Moira and Adam.
Looking forward to Corrie, though I do hope that we soon see the back of Phelan, he's just boring now!!
The Bethany stuff sounds like it's going to be interesting & Lucy Fallon is turning into a great actress!!
The Adam/Aidan war could be ok or could be rubbish, I'll reserve judgement there!!
The Michelle s/l will be a tear jerker!! It is really not looking like a great year for Michelle at all!!
Hoping for good things from Toyah's return!! Not that bothered about her & Peter's relationship but the dynamics between the three 'sisters' promises to be fascinating & I can't wait for the first scene between her & Maria!! I really hope that the Aidan/Maria thing brings all three sisters together as I think they would work so well as 'a unit' & as much as I adore Maria as a character she was most definitely in the wrong trying to lure Aidan away from Eva who was being a rock to her!!
It's been lovely having Mary involved in a serious & heartwarming story involving Norris & I hope we see a lot more of that unusual but very charming friendship, also like Mary's friendship with Erica!!
Todd & Billy is going down an interesting route & I am fascinated to see where Kate is going with that one, likewise I am fascinated to see what she has planned for Daniel as he is a great & so far rather mysterious character!!
Not sure about the new girl, Shona!! I just hope against hope they aren't going to try & make her David's new love interest!! Way too soon!!
Finally of course I am looking forward to Maria's return to Street life after whatever prison holds for her!! I will forever love Kate Oates for bringing her out of Blackburn oblivion & making her central to the show for 6 months!! Samia certainly earned her time out & I hope we see a tough Maria come out ready to take on anyone & everyone, while still retaining some of the 'kind but oh so gullible' Maria of the past Moatly I hope she can settle back into being the great Mum to Liam that she was before this whole s/l started & I would welcome the idea of
if the rumours are true!!

A bit unfair imo Lea!!
I freely admit she has dropped the ball a bit over the last few months where Liam is concerned (as she has admitted herself on numerous occasions to be fair) but
circumstances have been pretty exceptional & much of the time he was better off with Kirk during that time!!
I do think she has done her very best with Liam prior to the last few months though, often in difficult circumstances & please nobody come out with the line that we hardly ever saw her with him, as that is just soap normality & we are meant to assume that the times when we are not seeing characters at work/in the pub etc they are at home looking after their kids!! As I've said in other threads recently I think
