Oh dear...Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear......

Trying to do an Acorn Antiques and failing dismally.

Are the audience corralled with a cattle-prod, no doubt being told they're an essential part of the show?

Dismal. What are the audience laughing at ? Alternatively, can I have some of whatever they have been dosed up on.

They did a thing on Royal Variety (The Play that Goes Wrong) and I HOWLED.

This is OK, as an am-drammer it could be very close to home but thats canned laughter, right?

Sorry but I like it. Stupid and the way it should now be done as people are sick of the correct over sweet version.

Sarcasm meets the classic.

I saw a few minutes at the start when I turned over after I had seen enough news. A bloke playing Peter Pan? Whatever next!? A woman playing the Dame, no doubt!

Its amusing, but that's as far as it goes so far. I hope it gets better because I was looking forward to this.

The shadow is quite a bit fatter than Peter Pan. lol

They are taking the piss out of the fact that they have a small cast who has to play many parts, all equally badly, brilliantly.

The Play That Goes Wrong is a hugely successful and enjoyable West End production. It's about an amateur theatre company putting on a murder mystery but anything that could go wrong...goes wrong. It's very funny and plays fantastically to a live audience.

Last year the makers did another show over the Christmas, Peter Pan Goes Wrong, which was received equally well. This is simply the TV version of that and it's filmed in front of a live audience who are watching it as if it were in the theatre. It's all real laughter, so not canned.

The stage hands have made more appearances than the cast.

In fairness I've laughed out loud a few times now. The stage crew coming on to rig them up so visably was inspired.
