Emma Summerhayes - the police officer who was drafted in to investigate the murder of Lucy Beale

Nick Cotton - one of the most iconic characters on the show! Dot's son
Ah, thank you! Remembering names is not my strong point, in real life or in soaps. Now you've said it it's very obvious.

Only in EastEnders

Didn't Roxy also run Pat over?
I'm amazed that Roxy hasn't run more people over to be fair, the way she launched out of the Square in that convertible on NYD, it's a miracle she and Ronnie made it to the wedding in the first place. A few hours of borrowed time for a piss up is what they got.

True. Stacey killing Archie is probably the very worst murder to take place on the show.
Didn't EE start with some old bloke being murdered during a burglary? And there was an ex-copper who had the Vic for a while who has murdered without actually raping anyone first. Both of those were worse, imo.

I also think the murder of Fatboy was worse, even if it had been who it was supposed to be.

There's been that many murders, I doubt if any of us could actually remember them all.

That's one of the most amusing things about EE for me. I mean don't get me wrong, I went a good few years without watching but after starting again a year or so ago I'm hooked now anyway....but it is a bit ridiculous how many murders and terrible crimes go on in that square, along with other things like adultery etc etc.

It's gotten so bad now that you could fill entire episodes with someone coming out for milk in the morning and basically walking through the street saying "sorry for murdering your sister" "Sorry for sleeping with your wife" "Sorry for getting your daughter pregnant" "Sorry for bribing a jury to send you down for a murder you didn't commit" "Sorry for torching your business" "Sorry for trying to kill you" "Sorry for blackmailing you that time"

There's a hell of a lot of forgiveness in that square!! And there's that many skeletons in closets you could make a halloween special with them all!

It amused me slightly when I saw Stacey march into Ronnie's gaff last week to sort out the bridal party's barnets a mere 7 years almost to the day after she murdered their dad.
