here's some fun music I discovered this year.......

It's a pair of you Austrian twins called Mona and Lisa (really !). As well as writing their own stuff they do loads of covers of 60s pop and are very talented and seem like smashing young girls !

Have discovered a show Across The Line at 30 on BBC 2 (probably just NI) about NI music scene (yes, we have a 'scene' ) so I'm away off to open a bottle and enjoy the divine Divine Comedy and Therapy? among others and pretend I'm young again. If I throw up at the end of the night it'll be really authentic nostalgia.

Happy New Year to you all. Have a good one!

Something I discovered this year was the Array mbira. Here's A Simple Song played by the instrument's inventor.

I think this was the first single I bought myself although I'd had Cliff and the Shadows bought for me by mum and dad........... this was my own choice!

I can hardly resist a bit of the Beach Boys - my favourite song of theirs, quite complex I think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QCZ_bv9aLc

Hmm ok older stuff seems to be the thing right now.. I can post older to... a good DJ follows the vibe of the room lol

I'm into basically all genres and styles of music. Old or new whatever.

You can post what you like, there aren't rules

I just barely listen to stuff that's recent - I did post Justin Timberlake a few posts back though

I used to come home from school and watch his TV show - I don't know why because I didn't like Marc Bolan at all, although I've grown to appreciate him now, I was young and naive back then
