I'm sorry to hear that your nan died last year but change can bring something new and/or positive to your life, even it just means moving on, getting on with life at some point.

Plus you don't have to change if you don't want to. If you're forced to, you could just amend something as oppose to change.

Completely agree! I hate NYE because it makes me think about loved ones who have been lost during that year, and how it was the final year they lived in and the rest of us are still here going into the future and entering a new year and they become further in the past. I hate it for that reason!

Yes, I'm struggling a bit. Mum and Dad died this year, I know I bang on about it a bit much - sorry! - but, much as I want this year to end, it's also sad thinking of the loss. It's stupid but it feels like letting go of this year means having to say a proper goodbye, so much as I want the year to end, it feels very sad as if I'm letting them go.

It's a bit early (and I have all of the forums to catch up on) - but I hope that everyone on here has a truly wonderful 2017.

From the album I've probably played most this year. I'm not an Elton John fan by any stretch, but his earlier music and especially the Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy album is really fantastic.
