No expert here but they were great in the 60's and 70's and all manners of playing them.

Levinson Blade Guitars. I've got one to sell on behalf of my cousin. Proceeds go to a Marie Curie Charity! Making enquiries and they range from £250 to £1,500! Please help.

Might be worth consulting an auction house that specialises in musical instruments. They should be willing to give a free valuation and advise on whether it's likely to sell; they would take commission from the proceeds but it might be the easiest way to sell the guitar.

You could probably find a local one by searching online. I happened to walk past this one the other day which is how I know such places exist http://www.tennants.co.uk/Harrogate.aspx

I know nothing about guitars at all but I believe its an R4 and was made sometime between 1988 and 1992. It is in excellent condition (my cousin had a selection of guitars and basses and he took very good care of all of them). Its ash body and the colour is a sort of purple/burgundy.

Its gone now I'm afraid. The buyer seemed quite pleased with it.
