Just thinking will we ever see a year like it in terms of suprise results ( taking aside biases who would of predicted

Leicester to win the premier league
Roseberg to win the f1 championship and then retire
Brexit
Donald trump to be president
Portugal to win euro 2016

Anyone else think this has been one unique and unprecedented year

I can't say I was shocked by any of the above-mentioned.

Quite shocked by Bowie and GM dying.

Seriously?

Leicester were still long odds against to win the premier league
Roseberg may have been second favourite to win but combined with then retiring?
Brexit ok don't know the exact odd,s but know remain was favourite
Trump- Again others were favourite
Portugal to win Euro 2016- Underdogs for sure from memory England,Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, Germany were way more odd,s on than Portugal

Well I don't follow football so didn't consider who would win what.

Same goes for F1.

Brexit and Trump were no shock.

So yes, seriously.

Right so at the end of 2015 you were predicting that Trump would win the US presidential election and Brexit would happen..... Pity you did,not let me know would think I would have got pretty long odds on a win double on those?

There's a difference between predicting a result and not being shocked by a result.

For example, my money would have been on Clinton to win, but I wasn't exactly surprised that I was wrong.

Here is the Trump Predicton see here

Tell me what was wrong with that. I did not see any of the people deriding it come back to eat humble pie.

Maybe shocks was the wrong word ok let's put it another way....

What odds would you have got on all of those happening or Evan a win double of Brexit and Trump for president or Leicester, Portugal and roseberg

Similar odds to a number of unexpected things happening in any year, such as Tyson Fury being world champion, Mourinho being sacked and Japan beating South Africa in the Rugby World Cup in 2015..

Fury wasn't,t as long as odds as Roseberg ( winning and then retiring) Leicester or Portugal ( I know because I used a free bet on it)

Same goes for Japan against South Africa

Mourinho getting sacked maybe but you only needed to follow Mourinho,s form to know it may happen
