Yes that was good.

I thought most of the acts were OK, if not brilliant.

I think Seasick Steve's a bit of an acquired taste. What that business with the guitar and the drummer at the end of his second number was all about is anyone's guess. I was thinking, "Is the end of the song now? No, they're going to keep on messing about a bit longer. And a bit longer."

I loved the dance that Christina performed singing Tilted. Brilliant.

Nice to see and hear Roy Wood again, great pop songsmith , but unlike Jeff Lynne, his career never really took off post - ELO

I ended up switching over this year. Was all a bit self-indulgent and didn't really have any interest in any of them.

Sometimes, I just can't shake the suspicion that the show may not actually be Live after all.

The show isn't live, it's recorded.

I enjoyed Gregory Porter, Rag 'n' Bone Man, and Imelda May. I quite enjoyed Seasick Steve too. I liked Christine and the Queens' dance - singing/song not so much. Sign Your Name is a much better song, but Terence Trent D'Arby did it so much better.

I think he meant the performances not being live (at the time of recording, if you see what I mean ). Could be wrong.

Imelda May has a superb singing voice. Really dismayed to read opinions bashing her rockabilly look. Should it matter what people look like just because they do not resemble 90% of the population? Rather narrow minded.

We were surprised to see her with her air down last night actually! After seeing her in concert live, I can vouch that her singing voice is absolutely wonderful.

Just be thankful he didn't sing "Fire Brigade," back in the day, that record could clear a dance floor.

Have I missed the explanation for why Porter wears that or does nobody mention it?
It's like his security blanket

Well, some of us love that song, and love The Move.

I am off to see Roy in Glasgow in February. The setlist is a mix of Move classics, Wizzard hits and solo stuff, old and new. Can't wait.

What a miserable lot you are! Thought it was a fab evening of music. Gregory is just class, so is Imelda and I really enjoyed Christine & the Queens, ABC, Seasick Steve, Rag N Bone Man and Chaka Khan. I liked everybody really, it was a bit queasy when Ali Campbell and his daughter sang a love song to each other and Jools' interviews are always torturous but apart from that .. fab!!
So much better than Robbie Williams on the other side who was just dire.

Well said! I don't know what people expect. Ali singing with his daughter was eurgh but I can understand that he wanted to give her the opportunity of media exposure. Doing it via a song he'd sung with a woman who became his lover is double eurgh! IMO

It was an enjoyable show.

The style of music played by Caravan Palace reminded me very much of that of Caro Emerald.
