Welcome to 2017 everyone!

Let the fun begin in terms of transfers, there is bound to be lots of transfers, most notably with Jesus' move to City being the first high profile arrival.

Any other transfers that people think will go through at this stage?

It is always a fun time to see all of the transfers going though!

Dunno much about this Jesus kid, other than that he's rubbish on crosses...

Sorry, someone had to.

I wonder where Gabriel Jesus will fit into City's side?

Just whose position will he take?

On a different note, I wonder which team will be the most active in the window, for some reason, I can see it being Swansea.

Not every signing is made to consign a current player to the bench, I'm sure you must know this by now.

Aye, he's 19 years old. Wouldn't expect him to be starting every week just yet.

Yes, okay then to re-word the question, when he does eventually play (if he does), whose position will he share or rotate with, or be given a chance in?
If that is a more fair and balanced way of asking it.

Presumably he'll rotate on the right wing with the likes of Sané and Navas?

He probably will play. I'm guessing left back or in the wall at set pieces

I wonder if anyone will take Saido Berahino in this window ?

West Brom are apparently trying to convince him to sign a new deal but I think ever since they blocked his move to Spurs, he's seemingly decided he doesn't want to play for them any more and will just run down his contract.

Anyone talented enough will always have options, but the more of a reputation a player gets for messing a club around the smaller that list of options gets. Feels like he's wasting what could be some of the best years of his career.

Many thanks for this, interesting to see how he adapts, and how quickly he does, as the boy is talented, no doubts there.

West Brom must be gutted they didn't sell him for £25m when they had the chance. Not gonna be too many takers for him until he shows what he's capable of.

Exactly. I admire their principles, but sometimes principles will cost you and in this instance, it's cost both them and Berahino.

not only that but they're doing pretty well now without him..........8th in the table and could be on for their best season for some time

if he did now get a move it'd probably be to a worse team than West Brom !

I agree with you there, but really he only has himself to blame in all of this, perhaps a move to a Championship team might be on the cards, as I can't really see which Premier League side might be interested in him (famous last words and all!).

Any of the relegation-threatened teams would be mental not to have a look at him for starters.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Swansea take a punt on him to be fair.

I suppose he could end up at Sunderland if Jermaine Defoe goes back to West Ham as the rumours are suggesting

Sunderland would be desperate !

But would Sunderland have the money, especially wages?

Looks like Leicester have signed Wilfred Ndidi from Gent.
