Is the presenter always high on crack cocaine?

I think his name is Aaron Heslehurst. He was acting like a child with ADHD. Is he always like that?

I think the idea is that he's supposed to be relateable. An 'I'm just like you me old mucker' sort of guy who peddles the same old bullshit as anyone else. But it seems more believable because he presents himlself as 'a bit of a character'.

He reminds me a bit of that presenter called Richard Quest who was on the BBC News Channel quite a few years ago, who also had a manic style.

Yes, he's Australian. Manic is the word. I found him insufferable. Way OTT. Not that I watch a lot of business news at this ungodly hour.

His persona may be very different to how it was when I first saw him on BBC News 24 as it was called back then a few years ago. It was as if they employed a lunatic for a laugh. But to be fair I think he probably knows his stuff and is very informed, sometimes these people are despite their deceptive appearance.
I believe that he moved on from the BBC and now works for CNN. Despite how wacky his persona was it seemed that they recognised a talent there.

I guess that they sometimes hire these maniacs to present business news because normally business news is so boring they need something to spice it up.
It makes you wonder if they're very different offscreen, and when they go home they go home alone and sad and are on pills to cope with their lonely depressed lives.
Probably not, but when someone is manic on television it makes you wonder if some of them are like that.
