Had I been in the audience I reckon I would have walked out 15 minutes in. Cringeworthy. |

Miranda's stand up act was bad scarily so, too loud and unfunny and ran for hours.
The BBC also had us viewers hemmed in elsewhere with Jools Holland and Robbie Williams a tv years ending which summed up 2016 for me. So I switched it off and went to bed. |

You know you're on a winner when you start a thread slamming Miranda. It's almost become a national obsession.

The woman is completely devoid of any talent and is unbearable into the bargain. Her male equivalents are surely Jimmy Carr and Noel Fielding amongst many.

She's a good actor, but her standup and her sitcom are bollocks.

Just don't find Miranda Hart funny - the female equivalent of Alan Davies.

Lee Mack must be livid, he scripted her clumsy character in Not Going Out now she's making more money than he is.

Well, she thinks she's good, but really her laboured and some in poor taste jokes are unfunny.

Is a female Michael McIntyre meant as a compliment or an insult, given he could sell out an arena for stand-up every night of the year?
As for Miranda, she can be hilarious in her sitcom. I have no idea how people can say that there have never been any very funny moments from her that. But I have never found her suited to stand-up at all. There are plenty of others similar to that too. |

She has talent.....but is not really funny. She is comedy awkwardness, I doubt she has changed much since her schooldays, can imagine her cantering around at Downe House....
Harmless entertainer, a delight to some and an irritant to others....Good luck to her though.... Just be glad her and McIntyre won't have a lovechild....😁😁 |

As others say, she is a talented actress. Her sitcom was actually pretty fresh when it first started, although it did start to tire quite quickly.
I saw some of her stand up show when the BBC broadcast it a few months back - it wasn't especially good. It was basically her playing her character in Miranda. Considering she sold out huge venues though, she clearly made a fortune out of it. I think there has been a rush by the BBC and the likes of the Radio Times to make her out to be a national treasure, when surely she needs to earn that herself through a sustained career. I think she needs to do more acting roles, as she will become super annoying if she just plays upon her dippy Miranda sitcom persona for the next 20 years. |
