Surprised to see no comments in here about this really interesting programme about a truely great and thankfully, still living, legend of British entertainment.
Really enjoyed it and has been the best thing by far I have seen on TV over the Festive period.
Brilliant bit of timing too from Channel 5 (or had they been tipped the wink a few weeks ago?!)
Thanks for the laughs Doddy, congratulations on the well deserved Knighhood and here's to the next 10 years of laughter and fun.

I did watch it and enjoyed it, although I wonder if it was made up of bits of other interviews as some of it seemed familiar to me?

No matter how many times I have seen some of his act (and I don't think some of it has changed for years) I can't help but laugh - just the ventriloquist act with Dickie Mint.

About time he was recognised, probably one of the last greats still out there - I think there are very few modern so-called comedians who could come anywhere close to him.

A true living entertainment legend. Just a shame he is only now being given recognition with a knighthood - not that they really mean that much anymore.

I saw him a few years back at the Althorp Literary Festival (really) talking about his life. I remember how quick he was; when an audience member said they'd seen him live, Doddy came back with 'I never give refunds sir'.

Saw him live about 10 years ago. It was a terrible disappointment. He brought on his niece who sang badly to a backing track just before the interval.
A huge chunk of the audience didn't return for the second half.

Enjoyed this, Ken is a legend, his timing, and delivery is spot on, no need for obscenities to get a laugh either. One of our greatest ever comics.

Loved this but the one thing that struck me was how many of the audience members in his "Audience With" clips were no long with us

I saw him live in 2007, and have to say he was brilliant. His support acts were good fun too.

And yes, the show started at 7.30pm and I left the theatre at 12.45am!.

Is it being repeated?

Nevermind 7pm tomorrow.

The "Audience With" was from 2001, hence many who have since passed.

That's a remarkably similar statement to one in the thread in GD.
I don't suppose one being guilty and one being not guilty has occurred to you.
