The sequence is currently playing out on their Snapchat account, it's clearly building up to the alternative ending being broadcast.

Good on the BBC for posting content to a platform that people actually use rather than the archaic and outmoded red button service.

Thanks.

BBC desperately trying to be trendy, snapchat is one social media platform that big brands and organisations should stay away from.

Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram are all much better for this.

Some people use... I am not sure their core audience use snapchat. Core audience probably being woman aged 30+ (I don't know if that is true, just a guess)

I am not a usual watcher but wanted to see the alternate ending, I am 36 male and do not have or want snap chat. The red button would have been better for me!

It just goes to show why some corporations shouldn't use cutting edge social media intended for young people. The whole point of Snapchat is that it's instant, quick. Dragging it out like this just shows they have literally no understanding of its purpose I just have this image of a middle-aged guy in a suit giggling to himself as he opens Snapchat for the first time and drags it out with one more image

I give up it just keeps going back to the first video.

I am instead going to sit and take selfies of myself as a dog and other things much more fun

I don't see why they wouldn't use the red button.

Not everybody has snaochat or knows how to use it if they do gave an android phone.

Due to the digital switchiver, everyboy that has a tele does have the red button so why not use it?

Maybe they're having problems uploading the video? I don't know....

Exactly and I'm sure even youngsters could manage to press a red button without exerting too much stress,

And yet another "Are you ready post". I haven't used Snapchat in donkeys years, I only logged on to see the alt ending. I'll be deleting my account after this.

They are still faffing around with the 'are you ready' snaps.....Might give it a couple mins before I look again at least that way I'm not watching it in 10 second bursts!!

I don't get how much more alternative it can be if it's not a happy ending like they are saying on snapchat? The aired ending wasn't exactly a bundle of joy....Maybe they die a different way??

They'll be trying to get as many adds as possible Because the clip will surface on websites after its posted anyway.

We'll be waiting for the alternate ending but it'll be even more harrowing than the actual ending. Hoping for something much happier.
