Tell that to Michelle.

Well, I thought it was a lovely ending tonight, even if it was predictable. The Mary's secret son plot has been ridiculously rushed but it has featured some lovely scenes between Mary and Norris, the latter's best scenes in years, so it hasn't been a complete waste of time, IMO.

I gave the ep a 8/10 - I would have gone higher if Mary had actually left.

I like Phelan -

Hypothetically speaking Mary has about £5000 to throw down the drain. (What's her job again?) Booking a flight to SA 2 days before and at this time of year would easily cost that, I'm sure....
It'll keep you awake for hours now worrying about it, bless.

What the heck was Phelan photographing the invoice for? Are we meant to assume he's got Kevin's account details off it?

What the hell is Phelan doing? If he knocked the door in it would have been around the lock, not the hinges. Is it still a wooden door? I'd have thought it would be PVC....
What happened to little gormless Jack. Did anyone think of putting a blanket around him to prevent him going into shock. Won't somebody think of the gormless.

Why is Lionel Richie giving Peter Barlow evil looks
Curly does not have a long face

Anna still being ungrateful to Phelan.
Don't blame her

So Mary has a flight booked for January 1st at about 5 am..... Has she got all the travel documents she needs?

What a load of tosh
and that's why she changed her mind

Does Norris suffer from Stockholm syndrome?
Weatherfield worries

Sorry but the Mary storyline is just flaming ludicrous!!!
Was it your idea?

thick bastard Kevin spoke too much
Very thick talking in front of the Beast

Hypothetically speaking Mary has about £5000 to throw down the drain. (What's her job again?) Booking a flight to SA 2 days before and at this time of year would easily cost that, I'm sure....
She didn't pay

FFS Why did Mary come back? Useless pointless character who really needed to go.
Asda and Aldi do not think she is useless and pointless

[quote=Jack_Clinton;85022894]I gave the ep a 8/10 - I would have gone higher if Mary had actually left. {/QUOTE] I gave it an extra point when she did come back

I wasn't home but, managed to watch and had a smile on my face the whole way through. I couldn't post at the time as I was in awe.

Not even an hour into the first day of the year and KING'S straight from his welcome home party to saving a child and saving Annaphelatic's life.

When she came round, he was looming over her and she was rendered speechless. She could only emit her usual, horrible sonar like signal.

The fixed her back door which he had smashed in whilst in the knowledge that the lying, small business man would come home at anytime and make more pathetic threats.

Look how small he was really made to feel. He told Annaphelatic he didn't have the tools for the job and what he did have was blunt.

KING told him (his) money is no good to him and Annaphelatic knows he's always got muneh...

Don't worry, reparations for what you did and claimed to have done are coming. That's what happens when you don't tow the line....

All Hail!

And spoli the surprise?
Just so long as it doesn't overshadow Les's return, there's NOTHING more important than that.

My sentiments exactly on the Mary s/l Steve!!

Not buying Peter & Toyah as a couple, zero chemistry for two of the best actors on the show!!
Found the whole Jenny scenario quite amusing if I'm honest but other than that & the Mary/Norris scenes a pretty awful episode!!

The Phelan thing is diabolically bad now!! Please somebody else bray him over the head but make a proper job of it this time!!

3/10 from me!!

You'd better get used to him

He's about to start a run on thick Kevin. He will slowly drain the garage of funds so Kevin stupidly faces ruin. So thick Kevin - a man who bored the socks off me with the Ogdens - will face dire consequences and he and Anna Horriblis face dire straights.

So 3/10 for the rest particularly Nick,Mary,Leanne and a 9/10 for all the Phelan bits

He's slowly leaning on his gormless nemesis

That's the problem with Phelan and "villains" like him. They can't seem to make him intelligent and dastardly so make everyone around him galactically stupid, beyond all common sense (Andy in the blackmail storyline for example).

The way people have let losing losing £15,000 go is astounding. Surely the fact that the flats hadn't even been begun should've come to light? All those associated would have been sued to hell. Ah well, if Mary could consider moving around the world with someone she's only had a cup of tea and biscuits with ONCE, why should we expect anything more.

King Phelan is great and long may he reign over the land of dim-witted Neanderthal knuckle-draggers.
