SOC obviously trying to make a name for himself

The last few episodes have been very good, but that ending and the decision to kill both sisters off was way over the top. DTC takes stick for being egotistical but **** me what SOC has just did is mental. Not needed and is probably just as bad a mistake as DTC killing off lucy.

They weren't untouchable.

If EastEnders can kill off the likes of Dirty Den and Pat, they can kill off anyone.

Dirty Den died as part of an iconic storyline with 3 fantastic actresses.
Pat Butchers death was UNFORGIVABLE. As is R&R.

The latest in a string of poor decisions. Hopefully the BBC will own their mistake in hiring him and get rid. I understand the urgency at the time to fire Dominic Treadwell-Collins given his incompetence, but they should have taken more care to hire someone more suitable than this Sean bloke.

We could say the same for any EP who killed off big name or even very prominent characters.

Matthew Robinson killed off Tiffany and *I think* Cindy.

Kathleen Hutchinson killed off Den for real.

Kate Harwood killed off Kathy (though that was off screen hence the return) and Pauline.

Bryan Kirkwood killed off Pat.

DTC killed off Lucy (not an "icon" but she was part of one of the most important EE families).

Don't you all think Ronnie and Roxy had run their course? They just went round in circles. I quite admire SOC for being brave and killing off such major characters.

Yes they had their day but did they really have to die ? Both of them ? In such a morbid way too ? Was that really necessary

This guy is obviously just as into sensationalism as Dom was

It's not, EE was too big and complicated for BK, he was overwhelmed and thought he could do the same he does on HO, he couldn't and it failed.

I surprise some seem shock by the EP decisions, plenty off EP have killed of characters, even the original creators did it, it might be ruthless but its part of the process of the job.

For the time being, but both of them are decent actresses with good writing.

Rather the door was left open so they could return down the line with some new focus and not being in each other's business all the time, or Roxy sleeping around/being a waster.
