Samantha Womack & Rita Simons deserved better ! Horrible ending !!

Firstly, for two characters who have given great drama over the past ten years ....deserved a way better story and ending .....Samantha Womack in perticulier gave 10 years of outstanding story and performances !! Two great characters that left horribly !! The new exec should of thought up of a different exit or else leave the characters go out on a high or rest them for a while .......also a DISGRACE to show such scenes on New Year's Day !!

I thought it was a perfect and fitting ending for both characters.

Yeah they could have had them knocked down by a car or die of cancer like they usually do.😏

I personally think Ronnie got a good ending considering what she will get away with now if the truth about Fatboy comes out

Agreed, even though I shall really miss them.

I disagree. As an actor you would surely want a memorable ending, and they've certainly got that. The downside is there won't be any coming back, which is unusual for two such major characters who are still relatively young. Samantha had quite a successful career before EE's, so she should be able to pick up plenty of work. Not so sure about Rita though ?

Why is it a "DISGRACE" to show this over New Year?

Personally I thought it was great.
