It's about time there's a quiz where contestants get punished for giving obviously wrong answers

Quite enjoying it - it's certainly an interesting concept.

Rick Edwards looks familiar. He seems to be an OK presenter. He just looks a bit too young and hip for a daytime quiz show.

Not liking the concept, far too confusing.

I thought it impossible for the BBC to think up yet another relatively cheap quiz to fill up the schedule on "the nation's premier TV channel."
But I've been proved wrong.

Nice concept. Could do with a rather more enthusiastic host and less exposition in the opening rounds. The final round is a good watch and the prize question about the right difficulty. Not bad at all overall and certainly better than the silliness of its predecessor in this slot. Might be a good candidate for the spare Pointless slots to avoid repeats but I don't suppose that will happen.

1pt, 0pt, eliminated. What is there to be confused about?

Why has every BBC1 daytime quiz show since 2000 been a pile of crap ?

And why are all the sets so dark?

Why dont they just bring back Turnabout, Going for Gold and Masterteam ?

Ah yes, those old high quality favourites! As for the allegedly dark sets I suggest you take a look at the brightness settings on your telly ... or get a new one!

A quick search says he's 37, so not that young.

Apparently he is also married to Emer Kenny who is in this series of Father Brown, which was on just before Impossible. I guess it makes a change from Mark Williams passing it over to himself!

Who apparently is an Arsenal supporter so my interest in her career just went up a few notches!

I haven't watched it yet but the random exclamation mark in the title makes me laugh. It's the equivalent of "z" at the end of anything targeted to teenagers.

Omg! Why is the woman who failed in yesterday's final allowed back? Also it's really annoying that I find her really annoying but I'm not sure why.

It seems ok, but in the first episode I got every question right and the impossible answers.
I'm not the sort of person who would get picked for a quiz though and wouldn't like to be on TV anyway.
Maybe I was just lucky that they were obvious answers. Its just the grids to get in the final stages that seemed tricky due to the time limit.

They're all allowed back until they've had two attempts at the prize question. That's kinda the point. Surely you didn't think they'd have 30 new contestants every day?

Started a new thread after a search (with Google) failed to reveal this one:

Anyone else watching this? Seems like an interesting concept. Multiple choice questions: One is the right answer, one is wrong and one is impossible because it doesn't fit the question.

It's hosted by someone called Rick Edwards who I have not heard of before.

(I'd have won £10,000 on day 1 with the final question about Dad's Army. )
Enjoying it so far.

I love the quiz. In fact my whole afternoon tv watching is on BBC one now. Bargain Hunt followed by Father Brown and then Impossible. Can't complain.

Not everyone, no but I'm struggling to think of any other quiz where someone gets to the final round and fails but gets another go next episode.

Day three now and it always seems to be the same 3 or 4, who get through to the final elimination round.
Most of them sound pretty clueless and they're obviously just there to make up the numbers.

Who else was going Noooo! when she went for hyoid instead of incus?

(That's the second £10,000 I've won - only hypothetically unfortunately )
