just a quick one,

i have noticed that Sky Q In Germany has launched & The boxes seem identical,
do you think we can get our uk QBoxes to work, (of Course with the dish pointing in the rite direction)

Highly unlikely - the Q boxes check in regularly with Sky's servers over the internet and have been known to through geo-location errors if they decide they're being used outside the UK.

Sky Q hasn't launched in Germany. They have a Box called Sky+PRO. Basically it's a Sky+ Box (although looking similar in design to our SkyQ Box) but with UHD capabilities.

If not connected to the internet for 30 days they just remove multiroom privileges

And if they detect they're connected outside the UK, they throw lots of errors. Several reports of this on the Sky forum when users are assigned an IP with dodgy geolocation data.
