The sooner they get rid of Phelan the better (or at the very least rein it in a bit). In the beginning he was a great baddy who made my skin crawl but, they're taking it all too far now and instead of disliking the character for being an awful human being; I just dislike the character.
I can't believe that all those people have forgotten how much money they had invested in his dodgy housing project. Ok his friend has taken most of the blame but, for all of them to forgive him so easily is unbelievable.

I agree. I think they are milking his storyline now. If I record an episode and hes in it, I fast forward because I just cant stand it anymore. I know Andy is leaving the street and they are probably trying to give him a leaving storyline but really it doesn't ring true. Phelan had no evidence whatsoever that Andy hit him. Its just pathetic.

The Corrie back story is going to be re written so that they can go down this route - they have done it so many times before. What happened to the the lottery win that Kevin had and had to share with Sally? If I remember rightly, Sophie lost Kevin a chunk of it in some scam, but what happened to Sally's share? She must still have enough left to pay for Sophie's medical bills?
Ken & Dierdre took out a 100k mortgage on their home to pay Tracey's legal bills. But never seemed to struggle with the repayments.
Emily sold her house to Richard Hillman, yet somehow managed to give it Norris.

As I remember it with Kevin & the lottery win did he not end up giving Sally the whole lot as a gesture of how much he still loved her after the rancourous 'mediation' session they had about it!
I vivdly remember a scene with Sally, Kevin, Rosie & Sean outside the factory where Sean started laying into Kevin verbally &Sally had to stop him, then Rosie went & flung her arms round Kevin (conveniently forgetting she hadn't spoken to him in weeks after the Molly reveal,) squealing "£200 000!!!! Oh Dad you're the best!!!!!" or something along those lines, with Sean & the factory girls looking aghast!!
So yeah with £200K Sally should be prepared to fork out something without Kev having to dib into garage funds!!

The prison scenes with poor deflated Maria making pathetic pr*t Aidan squirm were worth that alone & I quite enjoyed Jenny with a bee in her bonnet as well!!
Far too much Phelan again though, far too much Packman & WTF was that crap about with Michael Gove between Sally, Roy & Packman!!
If it was meant to be funny it really wasn't!! 
The Shona s/l is making me dislike Billy & side with Todd!! How dare he just bring any old thieving little tart into a house that is not even his!!!!!!
