to Marco Pierre Senior. Your son.
Your son is going to die, do you realise that? He seems to be crying out for help in the stupid universe that is social media. Can't you put him in rehab or organise an intervention? It scares me to see him in that state, I'm a parent myself. I would do jail time if anyone attempted to involve my child in drugs.
You've got some cash, you must know people you feed enough of them, surely you can do something otherwise you are going to bury this child. I've been to the funeral of a kid, it's not something I would recommend. It doesn't build character, it breaks you. We were all very entertained by your sons antics on Big Bother, until we realised he is a hurling train heading for the buffers. It's not funny nymore, it's not entertaining, it's scarey with an eminently predictable outcome. He seems like a kind soul, full of love and enthusiasm but with little knowledge of real life. Seeing how other people live might help, trip to India, a hospice or ashram or kibbutz. New friends or the help of old ones. |

What makes you think that he hasn't already tried various things to help to no avail? Not all parents plaster their actions over social media. Surprisingly, some people prefer to keep some things private. 3. Why do you presume 'we' were entertained by his sons' antics on BB? 4. How do you know MPW Jr hasn't already visited India, an ashram, or anywhere else to see how others live? And just because peopel visit the types of places you quote, it doesn't mean they are necessarily going to change their lifestyle. Do you think MPW is going to read a post on DS? |

There is no torture like watching your child slowly die, and I am very sure that MPWS is well aware of the danger his son is in, but you cant just plonk somebody in rehab against their will! If only it was that simple. |

What do you expect Daddy to do ?
![]() Yes I know the fantasy we hold is of daddy kidnapping junior and holding him somewhere safe till he cleans up and dries out and emerges pristine and ready to live a good life . But that's a dream . Can't be done , and even if it were physically and legally possible the boy would simply head straight for the nearest dealer at the end of it all and the dance of death with drugs begins again .Even if Daddy held all the money in the world he couldn't fix junior unless junior wants him to . It's a salutary lesson regarding spoiling your children . Junior's mother tried tough love , kept his finances to a moderate but fair amount , but daddy was financing him on the sly, trying to make up for not being in his life . All it did was set him on a path of destruction .What a waste of a child's life . ![]() I very very rarely chalk someone up as totally beyond help , but in Junior's case I do . He and Paul Gascoigne . It's only a matter of a short time till we read of their demise . |

Look at Amy Winehouse, We can say "No one saw that coming" - Really? I bloody did! I'm just Surprised Pete Docherty (<sp?) didn't beat her to it.
Sadly, such behaviour is put on a pedestal more than ever now, Hell they even celebrate and boast about their induced incontinence, and sadly its not just something they do to cope with the pressures of fame, its actually the sum of their talents. I think we'll see many, many of this new breed of celebrity drinking/drugging themselves to death towards then of their 15 minutes, or shortly after it has ended. |

Great letter, Wishes!
I myself am also quizzed as to why millionaire celebs seem unaffected by the lifestyle choices of their children Your letter could have been meant for Bob Geldof about Peaches. Bob was admittedly grief stricken after her death, but at the time seemed to do nothing to help her. Even though he is known for 'pick up the fking phone and send us your money' |

I noticed the other day that Marco has just opened a new bit of his restuarant chain near Russell Square, he's a very busy man

I know where you're coming from Wishes, it's grimly frustrating watching a tragedy happen in front of your eyes

and if you had any experience and/or knowledge of how families handle a drug addict in their midst you would know that it normally goes like this:
Stage 1: My poor baby has been corrupted by evil drug dealers - we'll get him into rehab and he'll soon be ok. Stage 2: The rehab we sent him to wasn't quite good (expensive) enough which is why he relapsed... but this next one will do the trick. Stage 3: Repeat stages 1 & 2 until marriage breaks down and/or bank account is drained. Stage 4: Finally realise that family has to stop enabling drug addict and learn to say the word no and actually mean it. Seems to me that MPW Snr has finally reached stage 4. |

The only person that can help Marco Junior is himself. All that a father can do is try and maybe MPW has tried.

I don't believe all is as it seems. Having been watching Marco's snapchats since he was on BB, there's no doubt he is leading a party lifestyle...but I don't believe it's as outrageous and wild as he's leading us to believe. I think he's exaggerating it all for attention. I think the whole nose bleed thing was rubbish. I think he knows what he's doing and is just being an idiot. For example, the pictures of him dressed as Father Christmas at a bus stop holding two bottles of wine...set up in my opinion.

I thought he was a right plonker on BB .never have I seen such a needy individual craving approval by attempting to be outrageous.guy came across as very sad and damaged.havent been following him since he was booted out so I dont know whats going on either.i didn't realise senior was divorced from juniors mother.from the OPs post it would seem hes going off the rails again.im sure both parents are concerned for his well being and hope rhe family get him the help he needs.this guy seems to think hes a 21st century Sid Vicious and thats not something to emulate.

I'm beginning to think this way as well to be honest. He just seems like a massive attention seeker more than anything else.
I agree with those who say you can't help somebody who isn't ready and willing to accept it. I remember that time, not long after he was in CBB, where he went to rehab here in Bath and was then seen in a bar later that day and went on a bender down here. If he chose to go to that rehab he also chose to leave; if he was ordered to go there as part of some court appearance, he chose to leave. He can't be kept there at gun point, he was obviously free to leave! |
