What time do you get up?
As tomorrow is the first day back at work/School and College for most people i just wondered what time people on this forum get up. I will be setting my alarm for 6:50 and getting up about 7:00. Also do people prefer the early mornings or getting up later in the day, I have to be honest because i love the early mornings and seeing the country wake up.

between midday and 1pm, my kinda time is the nightime, a couple of hours before dawn, when the street belongs to the cop, and the janitor with the mop

Between 5 and 6. I can't bear lying in bed when I'm wide awake.

I've been off work for two weeks (for the first time in years) and I've been surprised how quickly I reverted to my university sleeping patterns. On the worse days I wasn't getting out of bed until after 10 - and it's not like i'm out partying or anything, usually asleep by midnight.
I've got myself on a better pattern now - was up at 8am this morning. Am off tomorrow as well but will be getting up at 7am on Wednesday morning for work. |

Didn't sleep well last night due to toothache, but I've been off work since Dec 23rd, so it's generally been around 10am, apart from one day last week when I met some friends in town early, and I got up around 8.45, which felt really early.
Back to work tomorrow (tooth permitting) so will be up around 7.30am |

It will vary depending on my plans. In the week if I'm going swimming then it's 5:35am, if not 6:40am.
At weekends if I don't set my alarm it can be as early as 9am but as late as midday but it depends on what I'm doing |

I'm another early riser, also some time between 5-6am every morning. I rarely need my alarm but its set just to be sure.

If I'm working early then I'll get up an hour to an hour and a half before I have to leave. Otherwise I'll just be up when I'm up.
When I'm not working probably around 10am. |

Wife's alarm goes off at 6:15am and mine goes off at 7am. I try to get fed, shaved, showered and out the door by 7:30am.
I don't normally sleep in much later at the weekends, but I have been off work since Christmas Eve and have been sleeping in past 9am. I think I would turn nocturnal if I was off work for a long period of time! I am going to have to get back into the 7am wake-ups on Wednesday! |

I'm usually awake around 4.30/5am even though I don't want to be. I actually get up around 6.30 to leave for work at 7.30.

My alarm is set Monday to Friday for 6.15 am because I like to ' come to ' slowly in the mornings, with toast, coffee and a look at the paper. I'm away to work by 8.30 am. I'm incapable of getting ready in a rush - I like to take time and leave on time with everything in order

Can be as early as 3 or as late as 11. Good old shift work! Ideally 830/900 is best for me !

At this time of year usually around 8.00 or 8.30am.
Gone are the days when I used to have to get up at 6.00am five days per week, thankfully, since I took early retirement! |

6:15am in the week. 7am on the weekend.
I get up pretty soon after I wake. Can't do lie-ins at all. At night I fall asleep as soon as I decide to sleep / put my head on the pillow. |

I don't believe in getting up before 10am unless I'm on a early shift (not too many of those now) when it is 5.20am. Then again, I don't usually go to bed until at least 1.30am!
Perhaps another question should be "What time do you go to bed at?" |
