are we not at the point where we have all realised that literally nobody cares at all who you have and haven't heard of. it is so boring to see comments like that series after series.
Well the poster was giving her view, It doesn't matter if you have read or said the same before. I do not think the poster was giving her views on the hope that you had not read it before, chill.

This series will be marred by my all consuming hatred of Coleen Nolan. Cannot abide the harridan.
The only names that I'm looking forward to are Nicola and Speidi who we know already and I'm not sure Speidi will live up to the hype this time. Stacy Francis will probably be a hot mess too. I'm also pretty sure Jedward must have calmed down in the past 6 years so they could be boring too. |

The only one I'm remotely interested in is James Cosmo (also, the only in there who is remotely a star) and he'll be edited to oblivion or walk out as soon as he sees the cretins he's living with.
That All-Star selection is seriously dreadful and Stacy whatserface has to be THE most anonymous contestant they've ever had. Did she even make the live shows? |

So they are going to run this series with only jedward in their 20s it's a very big gamble for the show.
I can see the ratings going through the floor with this one. Most of the other forums are absoluting panning the line up |

It is a big gamble having a mostly older cast on a show on C5. It would survive in a IAC one, but BB has less of a wider appeal so it'll be tricky.
That will please a lot on here but I just can't see a show with just jedward in their 20s |

People who go back in are never the same as their first time round. They are more aware of their behaviour and are much more dull. I mean Callum Best was probably one of the dullest ever Celeb housemates. And Austin Armacost was a horrible aggressive self entitled twerp who thought he would have won the last time and is now back to win this time round - I hope not

Hahaha ![]() I've decided, as usual, not to Google them and just watch how it unfolds (although I haven't heard of most of them either). No matter whether celeb, zeleb or just pleb it's the interaction between housemates that makes or breaks the show. They start out from Day 1 as just housemates and what happens from there is what happens.ETA: Either way we will get the he/she is shagging her/him and so-and-so did this, that or the other 5 years ago so they are a really bad person (even if they are a terrific housemate). I'd rather just seem them all as housemates and perhaps learn a bit about them and what they do as and when it comes up. |

Also, Spedi is just an opportunity to create a star vehicle for Rylan and his "triumphant" CBB return to put them in their place. Only in for 3 days so minimal risk of upsetting his reputation. What a lick ass production team. Keep him in front of the bit on the side camera (if you must) but locked away from decision making. He's probably picked half these nobodies. Surely we have moved on from him and his awful "camp isn't the word for it" BOTS. I may see what CBB is like, but I certainly won't waste any more time on him. |

I remember seeing Brandon Block on something else reality based and thought he was a nice guy.
Can't remember what it was now though

Maybe 'Trust Me, I'm a Holiday Rep'? It was on Channel 5 about a decade ago. He was good value from what I remember.

Speidi has threatened to quit the show because production won't give in to extra food demands added to their contracts...
edit: says the daily star so believe what you want. But wouldn't surprise me. |

I have not heard of half of them (not a bad thing) and those who I have heard of I am not that fond of. Hopefully the list is not accurate - and as it's in The Star there's a good chance it's wrong.

Exactly.
Lineup could be worst ever but the least known celebs are usually better. Has anyone looked at it properly to see if the least known are usually best? Some of the least known have been terrible! Quote:
I think the point she's making is that she has never heard of them, not actually asking who they are,

In any case, we also see comments series after series (and between series too) saying that CBB works because we already know something about the housemates at the start. That rather falls apart if we haven't heard of them. |

I dont know what people were expecting, if you have a viable career why do Cbb and maybe ruin it all. You have to have nothing to lose or testicles of steel to do CBB. The only name that dismays me there is Calum boring Best and his mum God help us to hold his hand.
Ok maybe Nicola shred shred Mc clean. or Coleen Nolan who plays the victim so those two as well. I dont mind the rest especially Jedward who were good in their season though I get they can be annoying but they are without malice. At least no TOWIE or Geordie shore rubbish this time. or that awful katie Hopkins. I don't think anyone ever expected CBB to be full of A-list stars or people at the height of their careers, but that much also applies to shows like "I'm a Celebrity" or Strictly Come Dancing. But there's better or worse even among the lesser "celebs", and CBB attracts a particularly toxic mix of the desperate and the tv equivalent of clickbait artists such as Nicola McClean. BB and CBB's further problem is that there isn't actually anything interesting to do (or to watch people doing) in those shows. So one of the best chances of something interesting in CBB is that you'll see a different side of (or just learn more about) someone you have heard of. |

We should know by now that it doesn't really matter who goes in, it's about how they all interact and who they are as people. There's been people in the past such as Tiffany who nobody over here even knew of who have gone on to become some of the most popular CBB housemates ever. In saying that though, Stacey Francis has to be one of the most surprising choices ever!! She's absolutely lovely and has a world class voice, but how they suddenly decided upon her I can't understand...very random choice!!
