I'm going to watch it, can be interesting.
But seriously, five days to loose weight? That's unrealistic.

I've stayed at this place. It and Galia (who is lovely) are brutal.

She sounds like Russian tank Her own words.
Did you get results? Was it worth it?

I lost 15 pound in the week (most lost between half a stone and a stone even those who were tiny and there primarily to detox) and I lost all sugar cravings. I didn't touch sugar for about 6 months but it crept back into the diet. I put a few pounds back on in the first few days home but the rest stayed off for months. However, like most short term fixes, it's just that, short term.

Steve Miller's (he of Fat Families on Sky) 80/20 (Fatnosis) approach is a much better long term option. He is nearly as brutal but less gimmicky.

That's interesting. Thanks for reply. I wouldn't mind to sign for one, but it's possibly out of my budget right now and how to keep weight off afterwards?
May want to try Weight Watchers.

I enjoyed it and wouldn't rule out going again if I had a short term goal to meet but it is expensive and not a lifestyle approach.

I wonder how Galia will deal with that bunch ordering a takeaway. Not sure why they bothered going if they were going to cheat so early in.

My thought exactly. I think either they're not bothered, or been told to do it to add some drama to the show.

If it's their choice and they were not directed to do so, it's pretty pathetic. It is tough and Jennifer is feeling how most feel at day 2/3 but she hasn't cheated (not that we've seen). I don't know the female but Diags and Steve Richie don't seem to be made of much from what I've seen of them on TV so I guess it's not surprising they'd not put in much effort.

The raisin thing made me laugh. That was not just made up for TV, that is what you are really offered as a boost!

I find laughing yoga stupid.
Honestly, you never shared your bedroom with two other people?

Never tried it but don't think I'd like it. We did dance classes and nutrition talks in the evenings when we were there.

Diags is as lazy and useless as the other overweight Towie person, Gemma Collins.

Watching this because the wife wants too...

Maybe I’ve never experienced real addiction, but is it really so hard to go with so little food for just 5 days? Some of the celebrities inability to survive even a couple of days without getting a takeaway is amazing...

And what’s with the treats? Last night they were ‘treated’ to a small piece of kiwi. For the same number of calories they could have had 5 chips from the Fish and Chip shop they faced temptation in earlier that day. I know you can argue that the kiwi is still better for you, but if it’s the same number of so few calories (about 50 I think) does it really make that much of a difference?

I know it makes good television, but I disagree with the whole approach the programme/retreat is taking. The first thing anyone is going to do after 5 days of eating less than 400 calories is want to binge on something unhealthy – probably to the extent that it cancels out 2 or 3 days of the retreat itself. Surely it’s much more sensible, and realistic, to maybe reduce your calorie intake by, say, 200 calories every day for 6 months? Much easier. And effective. But I suppose that’s not good television.

I haven't seen this - who are the celebs? it sounds a bit like the one Michael Mcintyre said his wife made him go to - it cost thousands but he concluded he'd have got the same result from a dodgy prawn curry on a spanish holiday for £200

I can't believe people pay to go to these retreats ! or spa's or whatever .They are bullied into starving themselves and I bet the moment they go back home the weight will be back on in no time,as it's just water weight they've lost not real fat .

As for "Norah Batty " as Jennifer Ellison called her , she is so snooty and rude ,I bet they would have all quit if they hadn't had been paid to make the programme.

I quite enjoyed it, but agree , 5 days diet, even very extreme one, won't loose you weight long term. Even Galia says this: you've been here, you've been pushed to the limit, now , off we go to the real world , remember, what you've been told here.

This place costs hundreds rather than thousands.

Diags from Towie, Stevie Richie from X factor, Jenifer Ellison, a comedian, some Welsh girl, Stacey Slater's brother from Eastenders and Sandi from Googlebox.

Not seen tonight's yet as footie was on but some took it more seriously than others.

That Gaiia woman is loaded. She was featured on the Lots Road Auction program where she would buy thousands of pounds worth of stuff every week.

Thank you. I knew I'd seen her somewhere before, but just couldn't work out where.

He wasn't the only person who missed it in the first post cos he didn't realise that was the name of a channel

Seems it's the 75th most watched channel on TV (ignoring the plus 1s)

Does score higher than ITV Encore though!
