I don't find Paddy believable as a qualified vet. He's a child-man especially when he's with Marlon. He acts like a big baby and looks like an overgrown bald baby, I can imagine him in a nappy with his mummy-mistress (whoever she may be).

I enjoyed last night' s episode except for the Chas and Paddy scene. It was really strange! Why did he act like she had hit him? She poked him accidentally ( although somewhat unbelievably). He acted like he was scared of her! The man' s a vet for goodness sake, he'll have had worse accidental injuries than that !

I bet he's really nervous around all of the animals. Either he' ll scare them or they' ll take the proverbial. He doesn't even seem to likeanimals. You can't imagine feeling confident in his professional abilities as you left your beloved pet/ valuable livestock with him, can you?

The violence in Emmerdale against male characters is way over the top, can you imagine the uproar if the same was shown happening to female characters.

At least this time it was an accident I agree in general though.
