That's all really.

Yes, I agree with squibs but what's with all that squids?

Something fishy is going on for sure.

Damp squids? You mean damp squibs. If you did mean the sea creature what are you on about?

Damp squids?

This is no way to speak about Ronnie and Roxy so soon after their deaths.

Probably because it came top of the Telegraph's list of misquotes:

It's a well documented fact that squids tend to spend most of their life quite damp!!

What even is a Squib btw?

The problem is that some people have put the Mitchell sisters on a pedal stool.

Squids have no bone structure, I find it slightly unlikely that they are capable of typing a forum post, let alone in such great quantities that they have become threadworthy.

Thanks.

It's neither grammar nor spelling. It's the completely wrong word.

It comes from 19th century explosive device. When wet it wouldn't explode hence the use for something not as impressive as it should have been. I haven't watched EE in years but just watched the ep on iplayer. It wasn't bad but you have to see it in soap terms: I honestly don't think anyone would dive into a pool with a wedding dress on however drunk. Falling off the balcony would have been more realistic. What I didn't like was the next episode which said Max makes a discovery. I think it would have been more dramatic if he had found them.

Squib : small explosive devise. Imagine trying to light a damp firework. The result would be either a) nothing or b) unimpressive.

Squids, however, have eight arms and could probably type posts on a forum quite quickly. “We've all heard that a million quids banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce entire episodes of Eastenders. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know this is not true.” Robert Wilensky (paraphrased).
