Jez Quigley beat up Steve and left him for dead. Steve ended up in hospital. Jim McDonad attacked Jez and he too was in the same hospital.

Jez attacked Steve in his bed and tried to stop Steve hitting the alarm button. His spleen ruptured during the struggle and he collapsed. He died before they could get him to the operating table.

Jim was convicted of Jez's manslaughter.

Thanks Janet, I don't remember anything of that. I just have a scene in my head where JQ was cornered and being beaten up, thought he died in the fight. I can also see JQ's evil face far too clearly.
