I hate new year with the amateur drinkers.

I went out really late (alone) to a pub a knew would be quiet

This year I stayed at home

Last year I went to the fireworks in London, let me tell you that isn't all it is cracked up to be! Nice to do once in your life I suppose but try walking around central London afterwards in a crowd of 100,000 people trying to do the same thing, not a great experience!
It's not just about that though. The BBC use state of the art cameras, but even these cameras sometimes can't separate the intensiveness of the finale, like the human eye can IMO, which is why you sometimes just get a big white splodge. In other words too much 'action' going on.

I was on my own this New Year (apart from the cat), spent time on here in muggins thread, drank some champagne, took the Christmas decs down, had Harry Potter on in the background and watched Robbie.

I didn't go to bed until 1.30, partly because of the fireworks going off in the next estate.
