EE So do you think Max really has moved on?

I think he might have you know, the self harming scene made me think he's not got it in him to go for revenge, i hope he does though, i was hoping he was going to be much more twisted than he is, he just seems a lot more vulnerable thats the only difference.

Absolutely not.

I hope he takes the Beale's, Phil and Sharon for everything they have.

I hope so as well but i dont think he will, the self harming scene was the turning point for me.

That Christmas pudding definitely came from him, so I wouldn't say he was completely over it.

I hope not, what a wasted opportunity that would be.

He might be okay with Phil, which is perhaps meant to make us think that he'll be okay with Ian and Jane too.
But once we've forgotten about it they'll hit us with something for sure.
He may not have even let Phil off the hook either. But that scene was necessary to make us think that things are okay.

Short of killing them I don't know what Max could do to them that's worse than what they've already been through. I honestly don't know what people are expecting.

I think he should give them Oreos with the cream replaced by glue and then call it even.

Im starting to think there is no revenge plot. Even if that is the case I still want his daughters finally realise what they've done to their dad. Maybe they still might if they find out just how bad it was for him in prison.

I agree, it would be a pointless, non-event having him back if he's just going to be Mr nice guy.

I hope Max has moved on. I don't want some silly revenge plot. The self harming storyline is interesting and at the moment he has his hands full supporting Jack and being a rock to everyone - after Ronnie and Roxy's tragic accident I doubt he'd want to put anyone else through as much pain as Jack and the Mitchells are dealing with - also I don't believe Max could ever go through with taking someone's life in cold blood anyway.

I must admit I'd hoped for revenge but R&R's deaths are a game changer. He needs to step up for his family now...as always Dot is right in this.

I wouldn't put it past SOC. He likes everyone to be friends.

The two families need a taste of their own medicine but I think it will be on the back burner because Max needs to step up for his family and he has other priorities.

I really hope so. The thought of him looking for revenge only for the Mitchells and the Beales to come out on top again would do my head in.

I hope they go into detail about how bad it was for him in prison, and what happened to him.

Especially Abi. Her attitude to Max's return was obnoxious last week. I think Lauren sort of understands his anger back in May/June for cutting off with them. Abi expected Max to automatically forgive them.

I did think he was going to come back and seek revenge but no after the self harming moment I think Soc is going to play it differently. In fact it might be wise because if they did the whole revenge thing sympathy would then go to Phil and the Beales whereas this way it makes it all worse towards the Beatles for putting him through that. Did that make sense?

I think Max forgave Phil because of the fact he conned Ben out of the arches, he wasn't exactly innocent in their feud.

Not sure about Ian and Jane though.

Yes it does. I do think everything he went through in prison will come out somehow. After what has happened with Ronnie and Roxy I don't see the point of revenge. Attitudes towards max though do need to change. He was treated like a criminal when he first come out.

I think the self-harm aspect has put a completely different spin on the storyline altogether.

I'd also like to know more about what happened in prison.

It's got to be something pretty bad if he's using self harming has a coping mechanism.
