It's often why I think when one character goes in a family it's often very difficult for others as often they go through big moments in the remaining characters lives (weddings, birthdays, medical scares, pregnancy, labour, etc) with their mother/father/sister/brother/child, not being arsed to turn up.

"Your child has been attacked and almost killed the night before their wedding day and now they've gone into premature labour and their life is touch and go for the next 72 hours"

Spot on OP. Now would be the perfect time for Tanya to come back. While she's back, perhaps she could teach Abi how not to frown all the time.

When she came back last time she wasn't needed. Sometimes a characters time just reaches it's end, i think we are well past that point with Tanya now. Her story was Max, that is done now.

I'm also sick of returning characters. They need to give it a rest for a while.

Tanya was one of my favourite characters so I would love a return at some point.

No. She'd be back for a few months then would need a year off for a break with yet another ridiculous excuse for her leaving and not seeing her daughters. Her time is up.

She used to be good in it but after her return last time i thought she was rubbish. Personally i dont see why shes liked so much, shes not the most entertaining character.

I would love to see Tanya back, but they would need to be careful and not just have it be a rehash of previous plots - but with Max and her 2 daughters still on the Square I would welcome her return.
