and ...................she's reintroduced grammar schools. Seriously? What was all that about? Has she not got enough on her plate.
It's all ABSOLUTELY mental - I'm sure we are a laughing stock. |

To leave the EU is one thing. But to have it managed by one of the most incompetent Government cabinets, and further, one of the most incompetent House of Commons for, well, beyond my memory I think... it just beggars belief. And on top of that, the Gov. is going to continue destroying Whitehall competences by outsourcing to the likes of KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, E&Y etc. Will they reveal how much they're all going to get paid?

Loving all the Remoaners in total meltdown on here, almost as pleasing as hearing the result on June 24th.

Oh yes, it's so pleasing hearing someone resigning because the government's totally incompetent and has no plan. I'm sure you'll still be pleased and laughing away when our economy goes down the pan because we're out the EU with no agreement, no plan and no trade deals.

this government are a bloody mess, I believe that the EU fiasco will be their undoing, A well known expression about being unable to organise a 'social function' in a brewery comes to mind, along with the huge amount of smug satisfaction I get when I remind people I was one of those who said a leave vote would result in utter chaos, even so, I never in my wildest dreams thought it would get this bad this quickly, and we haven't even started the 'negotiations' yet. ![]()

He knows brexit is utterly impossible and has resigned with his dignity in tact.
We can only hope and pray MP's block brexit to prevent the utter destruction of our economy and way of life. NB. We are best rrid of this man. We need someone in place who is going to support us, not undermine us. |

Was this the same guy who was the Chief Advisor to David Cameron with his 'negotiations' for a better deal that he went to the country with ?

Love how the Brexiteers are suddenly experts in this Ambassador, rent a gob wombles. Shame they weren't calling for him to resign before he resgined.
He was going to get it at some point, he was going to be Mays fall guy and I'm glad he walked as it's all Tory now. ![]() |

On the contrary. I have long thought one of the big problems for Brexit is institutional remainism. Many amongst the political and wider establishment will attempt to frustrate our leaving of the EU and reverse the decision if they possibly can.

Thank goodness the Remoaners aren't responsible for negotiations as they would, it seems, use a man who doesn't want us to leave, as part of the team assembled to do just that.
The Remoaner mentality is clearly not that required for tough discussions and as someone once said (of the French) are "surrender monkeys". |

Quite correct. Anyhting legal is permitted to stop the nonsense of Brexit. And don't start prattling on about morality or the will of the people. That was bought with lies, exaggeration and spin. You've got a real fight on your hands to halt the madness that has overtaken the country, and you had better get used to it.
You can make as many futile comments on here as you like but for you the game is over. |

The real problem is that people like you are still deluding yourselves that somehow the decision will be reversed.

Even if the likes of KPMG make a few million out of this then it would be the bargain of the century. Far better use of public money than that spent on lawyers for the pointless appeal to the Supreme Court. |

Surely this is such an important process that we need the best people involved regardless of cost.If you think that the government and Commons are incompetent then why have so much faith in a bunch of Sir Humphreys in the departments?

If he has stayed then Brexiters would have demanded he'd be sacked. So what are they moaning about?
