Absolutely fuming about this.
This has to be the worst, worst, worst mistake this show has ever made. EVER I cannot believe it. I thought she said BK rehired her to add some normality back to the show. Why build up her relationship with Ste again. They give us these characters and just insult us and rip them out of the show with half baked death exits. sick of it |

Really not happy about this. Amy, Celine, Jade, Rachel and possibly Esther - they seem to have a vendetta against decent female characters. Meanwhile, there's characters like Diego roaming around with absolutely no purpose.
Anyway, what's the betting they imitate Lucy Beale's death and it turns out to be Leah who kills her? Especially as there were rumours that they originally intended on Leah killing Kathy. .

They are probably doing this storyline to create more drama for Ste.

Amy will die. Ste will dump Harry , hug Ryan gay and together raise Leah and Lucas.

But we know that she does work away from Ste, but her death will be a bit part in 'The Ever Increasingly Tiresome Adventures of Ste Hay'. No doubt the aftermath will focus on how Ste copes, his relationship of Harry, and yet another spiral into drink and drugs again. The kids will be packed off to Mike's, with no reaction from him now losing both of his daughters, and once again the show will revolve round Ste. |

I agree Leah is most likely responsible. They've been making her behave worse and worse and, well, with Nico gone there's a vacancy for a child with a hobby of murdering people. Also it was reported a while ago that a storyline had been planned whereby Kathy Barnes would make a temporary return and be killed by Leah for being homophobic towards Ste- but Kathy's actress had a full schedule so they dropped it. Wouldn't be surprised if that has been recycled into this

To think about how brilliant this soap once was, and how ridiculous it is now, genuinely makes me feel sad.

I have only watched since July but this show has alot of deaths. Nico I understand. Why Joe Amy and Celine? There was literally no point of killing Celine

They already had Nico though. If they make 10 year old Leah a serial killer
.Or have I missed a key episode? |

Is Nico really dead? Was her body ever recovered? And where did those ashes come from?

Perhaps there was some truth in the rumour that Leah was going to electrocute her Grandmother in the bath, except they are killing off Amy instead as they couldn't get the actress who played Kathy to return. I wouldn't put anything past that little brat.

It is, but lots of us were thinking this in 2009 with lawnmower races, Breakfast Club pastiches and a load of dead wood, but it picked up a few years after.

.Celine because they wanted to drag out the Cameron nonsense even further and yet another false arrest this time in the shape of Jesse (though he should be arrested for being a criminally bad character )

For it to get decent again, Kirkwood needs to leave. The show is always going to be like this wile he is at the helm... the man has completely lost his mind.
Where did it all go wrong?

Lindsey Butterfield was the only death in the last year that was satisfying and gave closure to her storyline. Every other death (Patrick was going to die but shouldn't have been murdered by that wooden plank Nico) in 2016 has been a bad decision.
But killing off Lockie, Trevor, Jade and Joe...why?! |

It's odd though Francy. He was the one who steered the show into what was arguably it's most successful era from late 2006 to early 2009. His return sounded like a great idea!

Indeed!! That's why I said he has lost his mind.... he doesn't even look like the same showrunner, his two stints are not compatible. I don't get it. Something must have broken in his head lol (or maybe he wasn't the one really behind the good storytelling of his first stint?? I don't know)
