Really like him.
Does anyone know if he is permanent? |

He's supposed to be in the middle of the "embezzlement-cum-debt-cum-what's happened to Peter" storyline but it all seems to have been put on the back burner for the last couple of months. Presumably it will get picked up again?

If they ever give Steven a storyline, I'll give him a second chance. For now, he's pointless. He may as well be Tina's puppet for all the interest he has.

They need to remember he's got Wick's blood in his veins. Everyone who ends up in the Beale house turns into an utter bore. We know Aaron can act so FGS make him exciting. The show is crying out for a replacement for David.

I'm disappointed in Steven. He took this whole Lucy business surprisingly well.

I like Steven but he's stuck in a boring, sexless relationship with boring Lauren.
They should explore the character's dark/manipulative side again, and also give him a male love interest. Somebody he at least has a bit of chemistry with. |

Apart from the Fowlers (SOC seems to want to channel Pauline and the Fowler roots back into the show) the writers need to channel the true identity of the last remaining core characters ie. Sharon is a Watts - what is she doing flouncing about with Phil? She is a big character in her own right not a sideline? Stacey - what is this we are seeing? She's not a Slater? Dot - she has mellowed thank goodness but where's the gossiping she used to do? Kathy - is she reverting back to Beale - yes I think she is under SOC. Steven is a Wicks - where's the charm, the gift of the gab cheekiness?

Yes he is permanent but Steven has been underused and needs a storyline now.
