Me too! It's weird. I think he was awful because the characters around him were so bad too. Sinead, Lindsey (after she cheated on Joe), Robbie and Jason.

If it was just him, Joe and Ziggy it would have been a lot better. But he's working reasonably well as an extension of the Nightingales.
I think working with Ellie has made him a much better character. I think the actors have nice chemistry, much better than the AWFUL Lindsay.

Surely you wouldn't get your hair done by the same person who just wrecked it.
And someone with hair like Goldie

So are you saying that if we al stop watching, then there's a chance it will improve? (Not that my TV viewing is actually is actually monitored by any of the companies that produce these "Ratings". It's probably 90% guesswork anyway.)
Well, yes.

But nobody would actually know?

(It sounds a bit like the old question "If a tree falls in a forest, but there's nobody there to hear it, does it actually make a sound?")

The idea that Sally, Head of the local school, would pillage a shop is just ridiculous...

If views would fell, some changes would be introduced, possibly change of Big Boss.
Whatever. It's not going to happen.

Totally agreed, it's just stupid! Also, that scene was so badly edited and acted by all in that scene that it made me roll my eyes, stop watching for a while, while it was on

Me too - its like Mr. Birkwood is taking the p*** out of us all by introducing these utterly appalliing characters (Goldies sons, as well) and trying to force us to like them(Please stand up Ste, so we can throw rotten vegetables at you, or hide behind a bush, but remember, we have planted explosives in all the bushes, and sooner or later, we'll set off the explosives in the bush you're hiding behind*).. Can anybody who saw her in "Waterloo Road" tell me if Chelsea mangled every sentence she spoke the way she does in Hollyoaks?

* A reference to the Monty Python sketch "How not to be seen".

It would be even better if they;

1) Removed her from all plots

2) (And possibly the better one) gave her a plot next to her cousin Celine, along with her awful twins.

I don't think she did. I genuinely think the new teeth and enhanced lips have affected her speech. I wonder how many more Mcqueens.can be dreamt up.

She can't act for toffee. This is where UK soaps are going wrong. In the past they had to have done Rep. Oldham Rep was an especially good feed for Corrie. Before that they had done AmDram. My parents were in AmDram with Harry Kershaw, one of the longest serving directors, producers, exec producers Corrie ever had. People like Karl Davies have been there too (in Marple). I don't know how many just get through based on their "looks" but there are too many. They are the same in real life as on the programme = no acting needed....

Are you saying she's learning to use what is basically a new mouth? On screen?

(I should point out that I wasn't aware that she had gone down the route of "Cosmetic " surgery. )

She can't act for toffee, went off and got botoxed lips, was on Strictly, spells her name Chelsee, and is limited to her Salford accent.... This is where UK soaps are going wrong. But how did (I might be breaking forum rules here, but I don't care) Chelsee ever get in to HO, based on her looks? Quite simply, forum guidelines prevent me from comparing her with "The Bride of Frankenstein", so I won't. But I'm sure you get the point I'm trying to make.

I won't comment any more R, for obvious reasons.... I'm sure in real life she's a very nice person

Yes, Mr. B., I might be on very dangerous ground ATM, but I should point out that the "Bride of Frankenstein" comment was actually aimed at Goldie, rather than Chelsee, who, as you say, could possibly be a very nice person.

I cheered when Sienna bopped the Priest wuth the helmet, then laughed out loud when she turned into Norman Wisdom to set fire to the garage.

Give her a spin off!

Ellie is doing the right thing to get away from Cruella

That's it your mother is shit.
Ellie has gone on to forgive Freddie for his fling with her mum Marnie, but not forgive Marnie who was being at least manipulative and at worst spiteful.

Goldie is unnecessary in that scene, as well as the whole show!
Goldie has been superfluous in the middle of bigger plots especially Sienna / Warren / Joel and DS Armstrong's initial clues about Celine.

Yeh, I think that to some extent they are both a help towards eachother.

Sienna didn't so much remind me of Norman Wisdom at that point but more of Norman Bates!
